Perian opens all these and more. That and Flip4Mac and you can handle almost anything. |

Gannet-I believe Perian has that and other codecs, which is on this site. Between that and Flip4Mac, Quicktime can be made to handle most anything. This program does sound like it has nice features though. |

I had the same problem, until I went into the prefs and adjusted the upload/download speeds. It helps to lower the upload speeds, at least until you get a complete file. Then when I'm done, I increase it while my computer is idle so others can get it quickly. It could also be the particular torrent. The one I tried was obscure and didn't have that many seeds, but I got it! Overall, I find BitTorrent to be my favorite; it does exactly what its supposed to do (upload and download torrents) and none of the other CPU-hoggin' crap! |

Excellent addition to Safari! I hated using Firefox just to download videos. I have one question, though: how do you access the preferences? I was able to access them only once and now I'd like to change them. Also, can the prefs be accessed without hitting the download button? |

EUKON- Did you try the 'More Information' link above? Spells everything out in black and white. Did you really have to rate the program, considering you didn't know what you were doing? |

Also check out 'Wallsaver'. It lets you use any screensaver as a desktop background. |

Use 'Perian' with Quicktime instead. Its the only Quicktime component you need! |

'Himmelbar' is similar, but shows the icons as well. |

NEXIALYS - I think some people actually liked the idea that they could use a simulated iPhone before the real thing was available. You know, better than nothing? Give the guy a break. |

I always attempt to rip a DVD with the latest version of MTR I have. Sometimes the newest doesn't work, and I just keep going down the ladder until one does. So far this has ALWAYS worked. I simply label them in my applications folder by version number. I suggest everyone does this, as I just had a disc that only version 2.6.6 was able to rip! |

Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot to add that the problem I have occurs during "1:1 Copy Mode". |

Great program! Excellent for non-commercial DVD reproduction. Only one thing, and it doesn't really effect anything, it's more of a cosmetic thing - when I burn multiple discs, a "ghost image" of the last transfer stays on the screen. Can you fix this? |

Ok, I guess I'm an idiot, but can you put in a 'read me' file for installing? I can't seem to locate the library that the plugin goes into. |

Wait for the spinning wheel to stop (believe it or not it WILL boot, takes about 10 minutes). Go do something else and come back. Once booted, everything will be INCREDIBLY slow. Go download 'Applejack' from here no matter what. Install and run. After that try Apple's Disk Utility' or 'DiskWarrior'. Problem should be fixed. |

I can't seem to get my XBOX controller to work with MacMAME or MAME OS X. Is it compatible? |

I can't seem to get my XBOX controller to work with MacMAME or MAME OS X. Is it compatible? Also, NANNASSY, I couldn't find a 360 driver here, but there is one at Versiontracker.com. (Too bad I don't have a 360 controller!) |

I can't seem to be able to use my XBOX controller with this, even though I've installed 'Gamepad Companion' and 'XBOX HID Driver'. What am I doing wrong? |

Works well. One question: when Jomic extracts the comic, where does it extract it too? Can the directory be selected? I noticed a considerable amount of space after extracting a comic, but could not locate it, although it was viewable just fine. |

Ok, I installed and enabled, and it appeared to work. However, on restarting, I can't find Front Row ANYWHERE. I followed the instructions to the letter. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? BTW, I have a 1.42 Ghz eMac. |

Great utility! WAY better than 'Stuffit' or any of the others, but please, PLEASE add '.sitx' to the list of formats it'll handle! |

'Himmelbar' is similar. It allows you to keep the dock, and has allows full access to all your apps and utilities through two drop down menus. |

TWOP, have you tried the "search" box here ? There are several free programs that will burn to DVD here. Off the top of my head I know one of them is "Burn". You'll have to look for others. |

Ignore the negative comment below! This app is the BEST screen capture tool I've used. Works for ANYTHING, not just DVDs. Simply open it up, place the re-sizable screen on something and click it. It couldn't be easier! Kudos also for the different formats it allows you to save in. Great job! |

This is exactly what I'm looking for; however, when it runs all the artwork is still in place. What am I doing wrong? I simply clicked on the script and ran it. Do I have to place the script in a specific folder? Please advise, I really need to clean up my iTunes. Thanks for the software though! |
