SPACEXSCAPE BRIDGES  I use Second Life on daily basis - creating an art installation there. I use a G5 Quad processor with an old graphics card, a Macbook and the new 24 inch iMac with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS card to work there. The claim that it is unusable on Macs is unfounded. Second Life is constantly updating and reacting to user needs and the forums are there to help Linden. Sometimes there are glitches but user are aware of this and work around. Mostly, it runs well with Macs but better with a good graphics card.

You do need to make some adjustments in Second Life settings to help, particularly in the advanced settings, but the forums will help you with this.
