SOLARIS "The error you're describing sounds like you have either damage to the source drive or a failing destination" No, it's not. It worked well when I today run SmartBackup trial and make successfull working bootable backup. I really appreciate your efforts, but this time there is no place for sentiments: I need to protect my data. Effectively. (Version 2.5)

SOLARIS I wade through forums, I have the same problem than others, I mean during copying SD crashes. Log says: " Attempting to copy file using ditto" and then "ditto error, bad argument". No one solved it yet. I can't even figure how you can help me. Sorry for harsh comment, but I fought for my very important files :) Now I copy files manually to external disc but of course I lost bootability. That's why I switch to Smart Backup, because Super Duper is software on which I can't rely. (Version 2.5)

SOLARIS Junk software. SD made 3 successful backups and then broke down. Can't perform any new backup, because it stucks during copying and/or crashes. Can't even send report, because sending also crashes the program. I paid but I don't know for what. Unreliable, unstable software. Try something better. (Version 2.5)

ANONYMOUS Of course, I don't know what's going on here, Solaris -- but alas, I also don't know who you are so I can't contact you. Please send email to support -at- shirt-pocket.com. I'll be more than happy to help you figure out what's wrong. (Version 2.5)

ANONYMOUS Contacting me is easy. At the bottom of your log is a "Send to shirt pocket" button. Just click that, fill out the form, and I'll review your problem. The error you're describing sounds like you have either damage to the source drive or a failing destination. The User's Guide (Help > User's Guide) guides you through the process of Troubleshooting. Or, you can contact me: I'm hardly difficult to find -- the Help menu has the info, my web site, the User's Guide... or the Shirt Pocket forums, where you haven't posted as far as I know (because I respond to everything there). Obviously, SuperDuper! can't work if your hardware or software environment isn't working right. If you'll contact me, I'll help you figure out what's going on. Can't help if you don't get in touch, though! (Version 2.5)

ANONYMOUS Of course, if "Send to shirt pocket" fails (I forgot you said that before, and this web page doesn't give context) -- it uses the standard OS X "Messaging" framework, so it should work, though), you can still get in touch by sending mail, either through the web site, the Help menu, etc. (Version 2.5)

ANONYMOUS There's no way for me to confirm what's going on here if you don't contact me. It has nothing to do with "sentiment", it has to do with facts. If you don't use our support, and don't bother to get in touch (but, instead, leave a review that I have to search out to try to help), and even then won't get in touch, it's hard to help you determine what's wrong, Solaris. Why you wouldn't want that help, I just don't understand. (Version 2.5)
