Yes, VLC Rar-Loader will start playing the files in the correct order regardless of which piece you drag in. However, you do need to have the first piece completely downloaded. What I meant by my above comment was that the first piece usually comes *last* alphabetically (.r01, .r02 etc... and finally .rar) So, if the download order isn't correct (in Unison, NZB Drop, or whatever app you're downloading the rars with) this app will be useless. Usually I have to pull the .rar up to the top of the download queue. |

Oh! Also, I have another idea about what your trouble might be. When you're downloading a video, the files usually download in alphabetical order. So, it'll download in this order: filename.r00 filename.r01 filename.r02 . . . filename.rar Problem is, the .rar is actually the first part of the archive. You just need to move the .rar file up to the first spot in the queue, and then once that first piece is finished downloading you should be good. Cheers, Samus |

Actually it works great, but not the latest version. Try downloading 1.2 at this link: http://vlcrarloader.jjabba.com/downloadcounter/download.php?file=5 |

VLC 0.8.6f responds with 'main: cannot pre fill buffer'. RAR-Loader 1.2 worked fine for me. MacBook Pro 2.16GHz OSX 10.5.2 |
