SALES  First, I'd like to thank you for your comments. We take them seriously and, in response, make modifications to our product. Version 2 of our product was in response to requests for T1 and Fiber Optic optimization.

If I'm not mistaken, Broadband Tuner can only optimizes a machine for one (1) type of connection. It ONLY optimizes for Fiber Optic connections. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/broadbandtuner10.html

At this point in time our product optimizes for 6 types of connections.

In our next release we're going to add Satellite connections and will further refine some of our existing connection types.

In my personal life I move from place to place (e.g., T1 at work, DSL at home) with my PowerBook G4. No product existed for mobile network optimization so we created it.

SALES  You haven't given me enough information to help you. Networks are affected by many elements. PimpMyOSX modifies your IP stack to match your physical connection. It does not attempt, which doesn't make sense in the real world, to change your OS to match your current network conditions.
