SW_TESTER  In a crowded market for this kind of software the one feature that makes Process good is network sharing. nice if it worked right!

Your cursor moves if another user starts editing any of your shares. if you are typing at the moment the other user is typing then your typing continues in the new location that the other user is typing so it gets all messed up.

multiple users can edit the same item at the same time which means data can get corrupted.

Process does not use record locking.

NOTE: URL source (ie attaching urls to an item) causes errors preventing sharing from working.

If you don't set preferences Delete unshared project, and if you turn off your computer before the other user they will all of a sudden have your shared projects permanently in there Process. Plus next time you turn on your computer they will show your shared projects doubled.

It's a nice product if they would just fix these problems that have persisted for over a year.

SW_TESTER  Has anyone noticed it Safari 4 beta is as big memory hog as Safari 3?

my safari starts at 39MB but ends up getting up to 500MB or almost a 800MB at times.

I have to quit and restart safari to get the memory back because closing tabs or windows don't help.

I have the one space with all finder windows.

so I have no way to add pictures to the other spaces and I don't want to change the way I have spaces setup.

SW_TESTER  fission causes MDS process to use extremely high cpu (145%) when opening any file.

the only way to stop the high cpu is to close fission.

i have tried aiff and mp3 files with 1.52, 1.61 and 1.62.

i have an C2D 2.4Ghz processor with 4GB ram.

it would be nice if they would fix this problem.

SW_TESTER  it is nice to have a thumbnail for chm files.

certain chm files do not display thumbnail. maybe because of the way the chm was created, but not sure.

having the console log have 50 entries and errors for every chm file you look at is no good. so I had to remove it. i hope the developer fixes this.

SW_TESTER  interface is a little outdated.

panorama seems to have many more features than than even the newest Filemaker 10 even though the last update for panorama looks like several years old.

I tried the desktop/client version and noticed it is PPC only.

I called their sales line on 1/16/2009, and asked if they have plans to release an intel version. they said they have no plans at this time.

i would really consider switching from Filemaker if they had an intel version and updated interface.

SW_TESTER  works with leopard. I tested the cookies feature with Safari 3.1.2 and it works! yeah!

after you put into the InputManagers folder, you will need to set the privileges to match.

I used BatChmod. When I tried to set the privileges in the finder with Get Info and Apply to enclosed items it did not fix the privileges.

many times there were bombs hidden under an area that was revealed that should have no bombs.

if you flag a bomb and click on the flag it will blow up. it should not do that.

if you click on a number, it disappears, it should not do that.

it would be nice if you could search for a japanese word in romanji instead of switching to hiragana.

but switching between languages is easy to do in OS X.

the other thing that bugs me is that unchecking "check for updates" does not stay unchecked. so everytime I launch tensai it tries to check for updates.

SW_TESTER  great program. only one problem with v0.6.1

if you create AAC or ALAC files, they will not run on certain ipods and you can NOT share through iTunes over the network.

they play fine in iTunes, just no sharing.

it it not the fault of the developer, just the way iTunes handles the files. hopefully a fix will come soon.

It's fine that they limit the type of games to just a few, but the limit the deal sequences to 6. That gets old in 15 minutes. That makes it a demo not a free game.

Has a weird play method that allows you to place all cards in open spots not just kings.
