I finally found a way to fix my app and now exporting from MPEG formats to QuickTime is working again as it worked before...Had to write some lines of new code but all is fine now...I hope Apple will fix these glitches with 7.4 in next update... |

Unfortenatly this update broke the ability to load MPEG2 video track together with .wav or .aif audio - e.g. when you click on .m2v /MPEG2 Video track/ and if you have the .wav audio with the same name in same folder as video, QT 7.4 wont open audio, only video...Which is a dissaster for many apps including mine - MPEG2 Works 4..Now I have to figure it out what a hell is goin on again.. |

Can you please contact me via support email and Im sure I will find find what is wrong and why you got errors...You got only one track after conversion /.m2v - video track/ cause either your input movie does not have audio or your audio cannot be decoded properly...Also I dont know what is wrong with your input .mpg from other app you mentioned, but obviously it cannot be processed... I think its a bit harsh to put one star review and comment "waste of money" after one test and without consulting the developer what can be wrong... |

Please note that there is exporting progress bar as soon as exporting process starts...Durin checkin and preparing MPEG file there is no progress bar, but as you said, you can verify that all is fine by watchin the files in destination folder, and that process does not take long anyway... |

Subtitles will be rendered in white with black outline at 28 point size using the Arial typeface with ISO8859-1 characterset centered at the lower part of the screen where they usualy resides. Support for other charactersets like Cyrilic, Greek, Thai, Chinese etc. will be added in future updates like its stated on my web page and on the forum...However you can add any type of subtitles to an AVI before encoding to MPEG2 and then you'll have it on DVD after authoring...Please check here on my forum how to do it: http://www.mpeg2works.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=174 |

I forgot to mention that after you do things I explained above you can convert extracted .mpg files to any QuickTime format using the Export2QT section in MPEG2 Works 4... |

You have to mount your .ISO image first...Try with Disk Utility and if it wont then try with Toast application... Then you have to extract MPEG2 files off the image...If its SVCD /Super Video CD/ in question then you have to use VCD Copy X application to extract MPEG2 /.mpg/ movie(s) like is explained here on my forum: http://www.mpeg2works.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=954 If its .ISO DVD image then mount and rip to hdd using YadeX or MacTheRipper applications, or play the VOB(s) inside VIDEO_TS folder in QuickTime...Note that QuickTime requires MPEG2 Component for decoding MPEG2 files which you can purchase at Apple.com... |
