Very nice David. Thanks! To readers: this eliminates all of the numerous extra files from appearing in the pop-up/drop-down menus. |

Great app but unfortunately someone mistakenly assigned an older version for downloading (i.e. version 3.1.3) instead of 3.1.5. Can we have the new version... pleeeeeez? |

That last comment should not have been displayed as "Trouble"... my mistake. DF definitely deserves 5 stars and is NOT trouble. This is an essential (worth-every-cent-and-more) app. |

Mutz...I've never had a problem with DF with PS CS2 and 10.5.1 (or prior OS versions). Though I have certainly had some major bugs (that Adobe knows about and has posted) regarding Leopard and CS2 & CS3 Photoshop. I'm currently using DF4.0.1b1. |

As with ALL utilities that are able to change your system be VERY careful. Before even thinking about using this also read the reviews at VersionTracker. Many reviewers are not entering stars so the 'star-level' of this app remains unreasonably high. After reading almost all of the reviews on this I would never use this AS YET. I have been working with computers for decades and with Macs for approx. ten years. In all of time I have found that most major system apps (Nortons, etc.) do more harm than good (e.g I have had hard drives go belly up after using some). Since DiskWarrior was released I have found it is the only major system app I need along with Apple's Disk Utility. Of course there are minor utilities that are useful as well (e.g. Leopard Cache Cleaner). But for the most part DW and DU are all you'll ever need. Just be careful... especially when a system utility is at version 1.0. And again... read all or at least most of the reviews here and at VersionTracker before making your decision. |

Installed iTunes 7.6 first after running DFA and Repairing permissions and while Safe Booted. Then installed QuickTime 7.4 on 10.5.1. All is working fine. If you do the above you should have no problems. It often appears those that don't follow safe installations are the ones that have glitches. |

Thanks for posting. Great app... no question about it. But since I only basically change the default font folder (for the most part) with CB the new combined version is more than I need. Only since Leopard have I found that the default folders have been so bud-ugly (ala OS 7)... that I couldn't take looking at them. For most of my custom folders I just copy/paste. |

The main problem (as others have also noted both here and on VersionTracker) isn't whether the apps are worth it. It is that people are being forced to purchase more than what they want. How do you think people would react if suddenly Adobe said the only way you could purchase Photoshop is if you also purchased Illustrator? I am NOT degrading the applications... just that it was a VERY bad business move to no longer give the users the option to ONLY purchase what they wanted and not be forced to purchase an additional application that they may not want. |

You appear to have missed my basic point. Adding an app to another app is not a good business move. The developer is attempting to make people purchase more than what they may (do) want from all of the feedback on both MU and VersionTracker. |

I'm aware of the combining of two apps. But when I want Photoshop Adobe doesn't require me to also purchase Illustrator. Very dumb move for the developer which I'm sure they should know by the enormous number of people here and at VersionTracker that have also said they have priced themselves out of the market. |

It seems many other people have had major run-ins with this developer also. Read this page regarding attacks and copyright infringement: http://www.digg.com/apple/What_is_Rixstep_doing_to_Stepwise I certainly would not trust typing in your admin password into an app this developer had created. Make sure you read the above page (URL) before even thinking about using this app. There may be a reason that it's free and that he wants you to use it. |

Not even going to bother downloading this new version when it went from $13 to $29!!! You've got to be kidding! From the very large number of comments here expressing the same... it looks like you've just priced yourself out of the market. Really too bad. |

Essential! Nuf said. The only thing I'd be concerned about if I were St. Clair Software would be that it seems whenever Apple sees an app is this good... they often incorporate it into the OS. |

With you developing this, Rainer, I trust Quay. I've been using XRay for years (which of course you also developed) and I wouldn't want to be without it. Glad to see you recognized the real need for our regaining the ability to access hierarchical menus from the Dock. Apple really dropped-the-ball here. Thanks! |

Anyone using a recent Mac can use DiskUtility to do this for free. Simply open DiskUtility and click on Help in the menubar and search for AES. Help will tell you how to set up a VERY secure, and VERY quick to open... i.e. literally a few seconds DMG. The encrypted DMGs can be easily set for sizes from MBs to GBs in size. VERY easy (no tech-savy needed) with either 128 or 256 bit encryption. |

Toast 6.0.9 works fine for me with Leopard 10.5.1. Yes it verifies and when I checked many files they were byte-for-byte exactly as the originals. I also burned both CDs and DVDs. |

The BEST! Since I have a website with a public email address... every spammer, bot, etc. has me on their email/spam list it seems. Once it's set up it's rare for anything to get through. And the tech support is as great as it gets! |

Unbelievably rude tech support. Nice app as long as you don't go on their forum asking for help. Incredibly rude and hostile. I very humbly asked for a little help and Rick acted like I had wasted his time simply because I had forgotten to take note of all of the text that had appeared in the Terminal window. Then he immediately banned me from the forum! (i.e. I could no longer post so that he could continue to rant!... unbelievable! |

Buy it... it's a no brainer! This is an app I would not want to be without. Email would be a spam nightmare without it. Virtually no spam gets through SpamSieve's filters. And the tech support is as fast and efficient as any software I've ever used and I've been at this on a Mac for around ten years now. |
