This is bothersome to me, I assume this product is a niche tool for audio professionals (the price sort of dictates that premise). However, I believe there is some unnecessary ambiguity involving the naming or versioning of this product. My best guess would be a simple: WireTap WireTap Pro WireTap Studio WireTap Anywhere Using the forenamed assumption would require some sort of upgrade path, which there doesn't seem to be. I'm hoping the developer will read this, comment, and hopefully clarify this product. |

I've been a VersionTracker Pro user for about 3 years and switched to MacUpdate Desktop yesterday because of the horrible load times of VT. Even though the load times were enough to make safari choke, at least the VT Pro application worked. I'm really torn between going back to VT and dealing with the crap user login, crap page loads, and missing updates because the Pro desktop application actually works there and very well at that. I'm contemplating seeking a refund, this MacUpdate Desktop needed serious work years ago (2006 was its last update), the VT Desktop program auto installs updates this one can't even add them to the watch list without crapping out and hanging. MacUpdate has a great site and its speed and usability are excellent, that said their Desktop program is abysmal. It needs a lot of work just to get on par with its VT counterpart. Hopefully someone from MU is reading these complaints and address them by updating this application. |

I've also been a Speed Download user and have upgraded through several versions. But like you I've grown tired of its large and clunky interface and general bloat. I appreciate your review and am getting rid of Speed Download and upgrading to a cleaner/simpler program Leech (just get it done download manager). Thanks for your comments, they were a big help! |

Intego is a horrible company, their support sucks and if it wasn’t for NetBarrier they would having nothing at all. They want exorbitant amounts of money to keep the useless filter subscription up to date. Oh, and did I mention there support. I own all their apps and have for years. Hell will freeze over before I buy another from them. |

This is a must have piece of software, I don’t know what I would do without it. |

This could be great for those professors who make up their exams from lecture. |

Let me explain the level of support with this application. I downloaded a trial a little over 2 weeks ago and am still on that trial. Anyway, Pathfinder was crashing on me (due to a broken StuffIt CM) and so I sent the dev my crash report; the dev emailed me back within hours with the fix. I have submitted a lot of crash reports to a lot of devs this is the first and to date only time I’ve ever revived a response and I was not a paying customer. I have to recommend this application if only for the level of support, if you’re past the beginner stages on OS X than Pathfinder will improve the way you use your Mac. |
Why are all the apps that require a name registered to "macupdate bundle #1234"? If I wanted to see a name like that I can easily get pirated serials registered to "Leet dude" and stuff.
I agree completely, and I hope there is a mechanism for getting a serial that matches my name, not this nebulous reference to a software deal... |

if you think 41 minutes to d/l 37 MB is bad on a 10 mbit connection try a 15 mbit, I can’t even connect to start it. Anyway I really, really hope they fixed the editing problems (if it wasn’t the skipping/crashing, it was the incorrect ins and outs that it seemed to make up arbitrarily) |
