ROB06AU  Beware! This doesn't work very well with firefox 3.5.5 thus far as it crashed several times after installing it and I also repaired the permissions which found quite a few problems.

I have since gone back to the latest non beta version and still have some minor issues with it. At least it hasn't crashed for me yet.

ROB06AU  Be aware the current version downloadable is 13.0.2 still as at time of this post. This was release November last year.

ROB06AU  Apple has completely pulled the update from their own site and it also is not showing in software update for me pn an Intel C2D imac. I have read some rather basty comments about more problems than needed and it seems apple pulled it rather fast.

I am waiting to see if a re-release comes forward as the one available here maybe the version that causes so many new issues.

ROB06AU  Apple have screwed up bigtime as the DNS flaw is still unpatched on the client side and the server side is possibly still the same.

Apple seems to be getting more money focused and less focued on fixing the issues and also less on the end user as me I feel screwed over by not getting a proper or a fix at all.

ROB06AU  I have now got more problems than I had with version 8.3.44. The delays in the scanner doing anything from preview to scanning have become nearly a minute. Also since updating to version 8.3.45 I now get this ugly yellow line straight down the middle of every page that I scan. This wasn't there with previous versions.

This is the first two version of which I have had any sort of problems.

ROB06AU  I noticed it replaced the DVD Player.app from the Applications folder which is now 4.6.5 after the 10.4.4 update back to 4.6.3 and also the bezel parts are older version which have caused various issues and the only way for everything to run noramlly again is to re-install the 10.4.4 Update or the one I prefer is the 10.4.4 combo update.
