Parallels Desktop experience problem when trying to allocate physical memory in PAE mode. The current version of Parallels Desktop doesn't support your memory configuration. To fix the problem you have to add to your 'boot-args' startup option the following parameter: "maxmem=4000".

Does anyone know what this means?
