The Hit List
Apr 8 2009
*****

RAWN027  The Hit List is my fourth try and a GTD app that doesn't get in my way. I was traditionally someone who wrote everything down on a sheet of paper and just started crossing things off as I got them done. This was not efficient or advanced enough for me, I needed more flexibility and more features. I started with iGTD, was much too clunky, then used Things and I found myself "loosing" my tasks, then OmniFocus which was a great advancement over Things but in the end seems too complicated for a GTD app. OmniFocus has every feature you need and then some.

The Hit List on the other hand has the features, the simplicity, and the keyboard amazingness... (yeah, thats a word)! There anent many apps that have such a well define keyboard interaction method. I have never been in and out of a GTD so fast in my life! It has gone back to the simplicity of writing on paper, but with many more advanced features.

Fantastic job!

RAWN027  does this TV guide service offer any new features for the price?

If TitanTV shutting down? Will EyeTV offer the ability to schedule using different methods?

Maybe an API or some sorts, or a scripting interface?

RAWN027  If you only use this app 5 minutes at the end of your day you are doing it all wrong. Last time I checked for real programmers who use real version control (git) it is more of a lifestyle change than an after-thought tacked on to the end of the day.

That begin said, as a real programmer I never feel the need for a GUI based version control app, nor would I use this because its SVN not GIT.

Lastly, I mean no harm to the developers of this fine Mac OS X citizen, it is quite stunning and I remember being interested in the app when I still used SVN as my main versioning system. Kudos to the devs on this app for sure!

RAWN027  You did not write this Widget, you did not even customize it. This is the default example supplied by Apple, Inc. for their Dashcode software.
