Clipboard Evolved
Apr 28 2009

RANDY12345  Any chance that your company or anyone else can make a clipboard program that will allow saved notes (clips) to be used on both the mac and pc sides? In other words is there any way to copy notes into your clipboard program (on the mac side). Then boot into windows (on the bootcamp, pc side) and read the same notes? Or even to make new notes on the pc side and then be able to go back to the mac side and read them?

MAC912374  Umm... That should be easy, except that we have never used Clipboard Evolved. So we don't know what 'saved notes' are (how files are saved with what format or with just one database?).

RANDY12345  It doesn't work!!! After numerous restarts, etc., it still doesn't work. Sometimes I can get to the opening page before it bombs. Sometimes I can't even get to the opening page, just like the last safari update did! I have AGAIN had to downgraded to safari 3.1.2...

JWILHELM  An update via "software update" did not work for me. Maybe i wait a few days before going from 3.2 to 3.2.1 (or a possible fix=3.2.1.1?).

JWILHELM  After reading in a German Mac-forum there really seem to be serious problems after upgrading just like RANDY reported.

Some of the symptoms include:

Cooler fans running wild after 1-2 mins.

Safari hanging up after a few mins.

Or my problem, i.e. no update after "software update".

I suggest not upgrading yet.

Apple had an erraneous update recently and i suppose there will be a fix coming soon.

FYREFLYE  The links to 10.4/10.5 versions are a little confusing. Are you sure you dwnloaded the correct version for your OS?

RANDY12345  While I really like and enjoy this type of "space" game. Sometimes I just want to have a game to fly around and shoot down other spaceships. Not having to deal with all the politics of joining a group, clan, race, etc. is all I want to do sometimes. And buy improvements/enhancements for my ship...

Is there any type of "space" flying game like this anymore? Anything that will run on a 24" aluminum Imac?

Thanks!

ZWERDLDS  X2 or X3 for intels is pretty fun. It's got pretty up to date graphics etc. Think escape velocity in 3D.

PENNYHEAD1  This isn't spaceships but WWII airplanes. It's really fun and sounds exactly what you're looking for except that it uses airplanes instead of spaceships http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15496/osx-skyfighters-1945
