RSOLDIN  Where’s the fly out.

I have been moving over to Cyberduck in the last month or so and really liked the way it handles my tasks. But when I downloaded and started up 3.0 I found the fly out window/menu is gone. That is one of the best parts about this program. Even the screenshot on this page shows it, weird that they would show something that is not there.

I’ll be using 2.85 until I decide if I should go back to my other ftp software.

XARIK  If by "fly-out menu" you mean the drawer, then yes, the developer has removed it from this latest release in what I believe is a move toward consistency with the Leopard GUI, which has deprecated the use of drawers (at least as far as I've seen with many other applications that used to have drawers but have dropped them in favor of a unified interface). The screenshot that is currently featured on this page is outdated as of this release, which is why it still shows a drawer when there isn't one.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  "The screenshot that is currently featured on this page is outdated as of this release..."

Rather, "The screenshot that is currently featured on the developer's page is outdated as of this release."

So, unless the developer provides a new one, you will see the old one here.

Ah, I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification. :)

TIM27  I too miss the drawer. If the developer was going for consistency with Leopard, then he should have made the drawer integrated like iTunes, Mail, or the Leopard Finder sidebar. Not remove it altogether.

Oh well, still a great piece of software.

SAJDAK70  Please, get back a drawer in any form. I don't like placing of bookmarks in a main window. It wastes my time – I need to make many more clicks to make a connection to any FTP server. :-/

ANDREJ  I also used the pull-out drawer for quick switching among my 3 accounts and thus saving me a few seconds each time. Still.

TIM27  another thing to note is that the Log Drawer is still a drawer that slides up from the top or bottom of Cyberduck. This is not consistent with the OS either.

RSOLDIN  When going to download the hfsdebugfile for 10.3, that link comes up with a missing file. Only 10.4 versions are downloadable.

Any suggestions on getting this 10.3 version of hfsdebug?

Thanks

RSOLDIN  This is the best of its kind. Can’t live without it. It has made me and my family weather bugs.

I look forward to the 2.0 release that will come sometime in the future. But, I have lots of patients to wait for Joe in constructing another awesome version.

Glad to have it back working again. Thanks a million Joe.

RSOLDIN  I started using this a couple months ago and love it. Nice to have good looking font menus again. With the combination of FontAgent and FontCard, my book production is back to normal.

I had a small problem with it a few weeks ago but a quick reply from their support and it was fixed.

RSOLDIN  Ever since I pruchased this I haven’t had to run CRON scripts, except for when I do a permission check before system updates. Its great not having to think about this maintenance routine. I shut down my system every night so it Apples routines don’t work for me in the early morning.

RSOLDIN  The greatest clipper I have seen. I haven't downloaded the beta of this version, I leave the testing up to the people that have the time. I do run this little app at all times. Its one of my startup programs. Without it I would have a mess.

Thanks for the awesome work.

RSOLDIN  This is such an exciting program to watch develop. It started its birth as a IM already ahead of others. It is continuing to get better and better as each release comes out. Wow, when the final 1.0 is released there will be no Mach.

Keep up the awesome work.
