PROMAX  I have one question? Where are the options you need to increase quality of the videos?

It's also clear this has been programmed by a Windows user. He needs to take a look at the OSX programmers guide asap.

But in the end it works to convert to iPod movies etc... but lacks many important features found within other comparable converters.

PROMAX  Nice but too little options to play with.

The interface is a mess but does the job quite nicely.

Converting to gp3 didn't work and H264 movies are not saved in a correct way. There is definitely something wrong with the header.

It has pottentional but needs a major overhaul.

PROMAX  Well, if you want a good laugh then download this and try it.

The interface is just not finished and frankly it has a very bad design from the beginning.

Didn't convert three video's I tried. One even crashed/freezed my Mac Pro and could not force quit on it.

Dump it right now!

PATRIZIAF  I personally like the interface and the design. Yes, it is not complete but it is software in development (and free at the moment...): the other functions will come with the time.

I tried it with many videoclips and failed only once.... I ask me what kind of crap you are trying to convert...

You can always use non free software if you are not happy.... BUY and COMPLAIN!

I use mainly other free softwares to convert but I tried this one because it is good to have many different choices and I know that the other softwares that I use are now discontinued and in a couple of months they will stop to work... (Snow Leopard, new iTunes,...). That's why I keep an eye on Video Monkey and others...

HAUNTEDTAPEDECK  I agree with the reply above. Video Monkey hasn't failed on many encodes for me either. The interface is not bad at all, despite having a few obvious, easily remedied errors (for instance the "Overall progresss" spelling error, still apparent in 0.3). I like the simple yet, flexible encoding options, for example, selecting iPod touch then tailoring it for TV output at high quality with a 2 pass encode. It makes it very easy to achieve your desired outcome. Other encoders often often too few choices, or are so configurable as to be overwhelming. I think Video Monkey shows quite a bit of promise.

CANADIANPJ  I do not agree at all that this program is no good. Above all, it works and it works every time for me. It could be a little better on the design front but I personally have no problems with it and hope they keep going.
