if this could save .max and .3ds files to .fbx I would happily pay £99 for it.. chuck in .mb, .c4d, .dwg & .dxf's and you have the ultimate swiss army knife for CAD users on OSX.. |

iCab 4 is an amazing product and deserves to be up there with Firefox and Safari. Unfortunately its little known for the same reason as another great browser.. Camino.. and thats because its Mac only.. I would like to see a Linux and a Windows version... then there should be no reason why it couldn't climb the browser percentage board! Great browser... really glad to see version 4 released. |

yeh... I agree... who needs another average mac browser? The annoying thing for me is that Netscape has a massive opportunity that it has passed up... it could get back on top by producing a GREAT mail client to go with Netscape that could support Exchange and calenders and contacts.... but the Alpha release has non of this... its a real shame... makes you wonder why they even bother... I would LOVE to see Netscape blow everyone away with an amazing browser/email/IM client that supports all the protocols you want (exchange, MSN, Yahoo, etal) but they wont...... |

This reminds me of OpenOffice a few years back..... LOADS of potential... but not a serious contender at the moment... Once they ditch X11, and make it a bit more 'Mac' it will defiantly be worth another look... would be great to see real Exchange support (as opposed to IMAP) as well as tight integration with Exchange Calendars and Address-Books. |

do you have a LOT of fonts active? That can cause apps to launch slowly... might be worth trimming back to a base set and trying again! |

This is an amazingly powerful and blisteringly fast application. I have worked with Quark and Indesign for years and this application has a massive amount of the same features executed in a much more intuitive way. Amazing product at an amazing price.... I would love to see a 'pro' version of this app going head to head with QXP and ID. |

Used this for a few years now and it has always work flawlessly for me. The developer deserves alot of thanks for not only producing one of the best bits of freeware for OSX.... but also supplying it for free! |

from MS: Q. Will you re-release Office 2004 for Intel-based Macs? A. No. There are no plans to re-release Office 2004. With Rosetta, Office 2004 runs well on Intel-based Macs. Q. When will the next version of Office for Mac be available? A. The next version of Office for Mac is under development, and we typically release a new version every two to three years. Although we are on track, making sure that our next version will run on the Intel-based Macs will likely require additional time in our development schedule. We will know more about our release date after we’ve thoroughly evaluated the Intel-based Macs, and have identified any changes we need to make so that Office for Mac runs smoothly on both PowerPC-based Macs and Intel-based Macs. Q. Will the next version of Office run on both PowerPC-based Macs and Intel-based Macs? A. Yes. The next version of Office for Mac will be a Universal application. Universal applications will run on PowerPC-based Macs and Intel-based Macs without the need for Rosetta. For more information about Universal applications, visit the Apple Web site. |
