It used to work well under OS 10.5.8 but since OS 10.6 it's only a black rectangle. I was expecting to have it back working with this new update but to no avail. Running OS 10.6.1. (Version 0.6)		0

JEFFREY NELSON Earlier someone updated this listing for me, but didn't update the download link. The new one should actually work for 10.5 and 10.6 users. It won't however work for 10.4 users. These folks will need to head over to http://macpod.net and download it there.

MobileNavigator North America	Sep 8 2009	PEDRORS It works very well with an iPhone 3GS, and the sound volume is very adequate, being my only complaint so far the fact that the street names are too small to be seen while driving. The names should use a larger font and not be placed on top of the street line, but either above or below. (Version 1.0)		0

Microsoft Office 2008	Oct 30 2008	PEDRORS I don't know why some people has to go through all the procedure of dragging the .dmg to the Desktop, etc., etc. I simply downloaded and double click the .dmg and the installation went smooth with no problems so ever. I checked after installation, and the "About Word or Excel.." shows the last update as 12.1.4. Am I missing something? I did it on my 2 computers, a MacBook Air and an iMac 24". (Version 12.1.4)		+3

ERIC WOEHLER Its because we have all saved 100s of megabytes of wasted disk space by getting rid of 100s of un-needed language files. Talk about bloat-ware... if you run Slimmer or Monolingual etc , you can get rid of all the superfluous language files, and strip all the un-nessary PPC code as well - the result - I saved 2gb on a vanilla install of 10.5. On a 80gb hard drive, thats a big saving. Unfortunately, getting rid of PPC and Zulu language files means that MS updater cant update yr english-only version of Office.... give me a break, MS!!!

M. LUTHER I ran deLocalizer on my iMac that just got a fresh install of 10.5.5, plus some other software like Office and a few other titles. I saved over 3GB removing all the foreign languages. That's a heck of a lot of space for something I'll never, ever use.

EASER I, too, had used Delocalizer (simply my preferred program; no doubt the others also work well). Saved me over 1 GB of space. And as I noted in an earlier posting, I followed the instructions for how to get the updater to work on my modified Office. And the update did work. However, I also have a personal practice of setting some applications to hide when I'm not using them. Oddly, Excel kept crashing on me when I tried to do this. I eventually had to reinstall and go through the entire update-by-update procedure (i.e.,12.1.0 to 12.1.1 to 12.1.2, etc.). I'm now again up to 12.14, only this version has all the unnecessary languages in it. But Excel no longer crashes when I hide it. I'm hard-pressed to explain this, but I guess I'm stuck with the bloated version.

Apple Mac OS X	Sep 16 2008	PEDRORS I just installed OS 10.5.5 on my MacBook Air and everything went smooth. But before upgrading I ran Cocktail and after upgrading I did a Repair Permissions. After upgrading a tried using it BEFORE Repairing Permissions and the Finder wasn't responding. After Repairing Permissions everything works better and faster. I used the Combo version (601 MB...), but it's worthwhile. (Version 10.5.5)		0

Kover Phlose	Apr 7 2008	PEDRORS I had the opportunity of testing the first and second versions of this Visualizer, but this third one is a tremendous improvement, allowing one to "manage" the covers with the mouse. Don't forget to press the "lower case "k" key" to see the covers on the screen. And best of all, it's free. Keep doing the good work Don. (Version 3.0)		0

PdC Calculator	Aug 22 2007	PEDRORS A very interesting widget and apparently well done. One correction that should be done is on the main window "meters" and "milimeters" are shown as M and MM, respectively. The correct way to write them is m and mm, which is correct at the back of the widget. I'll give a deeper try. (Version 1.7.1)		0
