PAUL COOK  Looks cool, but it needs updated documentation.

The help file says that to run it, "hit the green run button..." Well there are two green icons, but neither seems to be a run button. I'm guessing that the run button got replaced by a cd/MP3 player style play button that looks like a triangle pointing to the right.

I still haven't figured out what the other buttons do, so a bit of updated documentation would be helpful. Or if someone knows, posting it here would be helpful too.

But, I have been able to get it to work well enough that I may actually pay/donate $$$ for it.

OnSync

PAUL COOK  Worked with my Motorola V3i with iTunes under Leopard 10.5.3. It has a much better interface with a lot more control than iSync. Worth the $$$. iSync is free and it too is worth every penny of what you pay for it. ;-)

For some reason, I just couldn't get Apple's iSync to work anymore. If it wasn't for the general slowness and issues of Leopard, I'd wonder if it wasn't that they wanted to "encourage" me to buy an iPhone.

I tried both USB and BlueTooth with iSync for 4 to 6 hours on two different Macs and the net result was that I then had ZERO addresses. Sometimes kernal panic. Other times it wouldn't see the phone, etc.

With OnSync, I was able to get my addresses into the phone. It has more control and more features than iSync. AND IT WORKS!!!

***..

PAUL COOK  For U.S. Passports, there is a nice guide to how your picture should look at:

http://travel.state.gov/passport/guide/composition/composition_874.html

They suggest that the centerline for the eyes should be 1-1/8" to 1-3/8". They suggest that the face should be about 1" to 1-3/8" in size. And that the total picture should be 2" square.

After playing with PassportPicture for about an hour, it looks like it will do a good job with the last requirement. And it will help with the second. But it provides nothing for the first.

It would be nice if the developer could add a couple of guidelines to aid in meeting the first requirement. And it would be nice if you could have at least two of both the existing square and the new guidelines. That way, one could express a range. I.e. the face should fill the inner square, but not exceed the outer.

This program isn't bad. But with just a few minor enhancements, it could be great!
