Too bad "leech" is already in use as an application name because with regard to upgrade fees, it would be an apt moniker for this app. |

Count me as an unfortunate who decided early this morning to clean out my font cache and found version 1.9.1 a tad too aggressive (like in erasing ALL personal data). Mistakes happen, but this was a really big one, and not one I will forgive. All I can say is thank god for Time Machine. In 1.5 hours my boot drive was back up and all appears OK. All I lost was my customized disk icon. Anyone else using Time Machine to do a complete disk restore: be sure to run repair permissions immediately after. It has to reset some file permissions. Anyone who disagrees with the one star rating- imagine losing all of your personal data. Quality control is absolutely essential for this sort of utility. I just wish SuperDuper and Disk Warrior were available in Leopard flavors. Time Machine did work but for 90 uncomfortable minutes I was completely at its mercy (and the RAID 0 array my backup was on). |

20 seconds in... crash. Nice cosmetic appearance, but stability just isn't there, at least not for me. |

OK, I am stumped. How do I UPGRADE to the new version? This (and their site) links to a demo. |

I sort of hate to lose. How hard is it to beat this game? If you have a 3GHz Mac Pro is it sort of futile? |

How does this compare with Synchronize! Pro? Has anyone compared? |

Worth investigating. Can anyone comment on Leopard compatibility as I have made the conversion? |

I agree with poster who said the license should be bound to a single user and not a single machine. In today's age most people have both a desktop and a laptop. At a minimum, the author should consider a portable version that could operate from a USB flash drive. |

Agree with other respondents, this looks way too expensive -- even with the discount. Knox works fine for me and Disk Utility is probably functional enough for most. |

The best software is sometimes the stuff that seems almost ridiculously simple, but which just works. Jesse knows what bloatware is, and he doesn't code it. |

Agreed. Beware. I've had GraphicConverter since the 80's, but this practice of dumping GC 5.95 in a promo JUST BEFORE a major paid upgrade is deplorable. I won't be upgrading. |

Would someone mind taking a stab at explaining what is meant by 'N-way synchronization'? |

Wait a minute. To be fair, there is a feedback menu item in the program. And the program still seems to run despite the earlier dialog telling me that it had expired and that now I have to buy. So it looks lioke an obscure bug in their time-out module. But everything I said about their web page goes. Vendors should be easy to contact and we should know who we are buying stuff from. |

Well, I have been using StickyBrain from its first appearance and have never lost any data whatsoever. The ability to add snippets of information using any of several different methods is very useful and it is easy to find info quickly from the menu bar and importantly, it is easy to export the information back out into other applications. Version 4 seems to continue the evolution of the application in a very positive way...I will report back as I further explore it. |

Well, it crashes about once a day for me. I usually notice when the clock on the menu departs significantly from what I know is right. |

OK, I've got it working, but don't know how I did it. There was a forced restart in-between (not this application's fault as far as I can tell). One other issue is that I didn't already have a Saved Searches directory, having not used it yet (hard to believe I know). It looks pretty neat and the interface is a vast improvement over spotlight (attention Apple programmers-Spotlight is nice, but half-baked). Couple of questions though for the programmer - why is the search window unmovable. Certainly anyone with multiple monitors (like me) would want it on their secondary monitor. And why not at least an option to display the save folder of the current search right then and there (after all I am searching for something right now and possibly provide a better name for the folder-perhaps a composite of the search criteria or something the user chooses on the spot-yes, a pun). As for GUI the current dialog is reasonable but how about the ability to put it in the menu bar or the apple menu or contextual, or better yet-where spotlight is on the menu -- if you can figure out how (sorry Apple). There are ways to probably kluge most of that with other software but you could make it so much easier. |

Same here. Looks pretty but doesn't appear to search. And yes, I did click the strange button at the bottom. |
