PABLO2K Brilliant. This works painlessly and elegantly. Take your old DOS games or applications and just drag them into the coverflow viewer and it installs, have very few problems with it. I donated shortly after playing around with it. Highly recommended. (Version 0.85)

PABLO2K Well. I feel screwed. I actually paid for this and when the new version arrived it states: REMINDER: iQuarantine X v10.5.4 and up, will be pay updates.... So even if I was enthusiastic at first I now would recommend to stay away. This is to greedy. (Version 10.5.3)

PABLO2K This is probably the best old-school Shoot-Em-Up for the Mac. It is made by the Original Amiga Deluxe Galaga author and keeps the graphic, sounds and most importantly gameplay for what it should be. A must for retro gamers and people that like simple games. A must try. (Version 1.3)

PABLO2K Great app, but already a paid for upgrade? I have earlier bought two licences for this one. I will not be looking at this if they don`t start doing business in a sensible manner. I have uninstalled version 4 as it doesn`t work properly in Leopard, to many strange things happening. This was really money down the drain, I won`t send any more down this drain. Hopefully they will change their policies and also treat their existing customers better. (Version 5.0)

PABLO2K This is another example of calling your users/customers thieves. You are required to enter your hardware id to get the program to work. I will never buy software that binds to hardware like this or require activation. To bad since the software seems quite ok. (Version 1.0)

PABLO2K This software requires activation to work. I really hate activation, itīs like calling legitimate customers/users for thief's. Even thought I liked this software I will never buy something that requires activation. Bad decision from the software publisher. (Version 2.3.5)

PABLO2K Great. :-) Thanks for clearing the issue. I checked out the FAQ and now I know how it works, maybe there should be a FAQ weblink in the registration dialogue?. PABLO2K Ordering via credit card didnÂīt work. I ordered via PayPal and that worked. Hope I donÂīt get double billed. Comment: Do the software become hardwarebound? I hate this if this is the case. I plan on changing my MacBooc and that would render the license invalid. I get this when registering: "... validity of your kicense code online, once... - checksum on an ambiguous machine identifier...." (Version 1.1)

PABLO2K The application works great and integrates well into into the different browsers except for Opera. Camino, some missed clicks But I found out after buying it that the license is tied to the hardware and that it has a call-home "feature". This coupled with the software being expensive makes me regret buying a license. They seem to have good support as they answered me quicly. - Tobias B. (Version 4.1.7)

As we have already answered in our email to you, Speed Download DOES NOT have a call home feature. This was very clearly stated in the email response we sent to you and is posted in many different area on our website. What SD does is check to see if you have another copy of SD running on your LOCAL network with the same registration, and if so, it lets you know that you need to purchase a separate license for that second machine. There is NO call home whatsoever. SD has never, will never have that because we hate it ourselves. As I also mentioned to you, we have discounted prices for multiple licenses should you need them. Kindly refrain from posting false and misleading information. As for Opera integration, it's there. It's just that Opera doesn't work like all other browsers. To make SD integrate with Opera, you need to enable the SD components for all users via the ADVANCED section of the SD preferences. This is also posted on our SUPPORT/FAQ section: http://yazsoft.com/sitepages/supportpages/browsers.html - Johnny @ Yazsoft (Version 4.1.7)

Sorry for misunderstanding. I clearly didnīt do enough research on this and should awaited the developer answering the follow up questions I had. There is no call-home in the software, itīs a local check on your network if any other instances is running with the same license. Also it integrates well into Opera. - Tobias B. (Version 4.1.7)

SHAWNYQ I believe all software purchased for personal use should not be forced to buy separate licenses for all computers in the home. Who has the money for all that? It's a marketing scam, plain and simple. Next, companies will force consumers to purchase separate DVDs for each DVD player in the home. I guess the best thing to do is deny access from your local network to Speed Download until the company realizes their communistic approach to software distribution. (Version 4.1.7)

Speed Download | Mar 12 2007 |
XSMURF I highly doubt that has anything with communism... More like "Faschist Consumerism" or just plain capitalism... (Version 4.1.9)
