OCEANCUBED All these downloaders are nice, but they cost money. Try: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbd/ Once you have this installed on your mac, downloading from Usenet (newzbin.com) becomes a 1 mouse click affair. Works perfectly in Tiger.

OCEANCUBED You DON'T need MAMP PRO to be able to connect your MAMP to a Dynamic DNS Service. I have MAMP (Free version) installed which is broadcasting on port 8888 (the default), I have setup the FREE service with dyndns.org to allow a domain name of my choosing to route to my dynamic home address. Dyndns.org also provide software/daemon that runs in the background on your Mac, which keeps the dyndns.org routing updated to your changing dynamic ip. I can access my site on my Mac from any where in the world via the domain attached via dyndns.org to my home dynamic ip. Better still, buy a NETGEAR router as they have a feature which enables the continous update of your changing ip address to dyndns.org.

OCEANCUBED $25, you have to be joking! As previous poster said: Quicksilver is the only launcher you will ever need, and it's FREE!! I second that, Quicksilver beats all other launchers hands down!

PGRILO Is the iTunes file name other than iTunes.app? I have no clue on this right now, I will re-code the iTunes version check in some other way so that iTunes won't be themed is it is not found.. This way it will not be a requirement.

OCEANCUBED Very good utilisation of the SMS feature, full stars for all features, but be careful! I installed this a while back on my Macbook Pro, all was fine for 4 days, then the mac wouldn't boot up. Took it to the local APple Centre, who told me after running their test etc, that the Hard Drive heads had crashed into the discs. They asked, "Had the laptop been jolted or dropped recently?" Obviously I didn't tell them I had been slapping my Macbook Pro around, and luckily I now have a brand new Macbook Pro, thanks to AppleCare. Might have just been my machine that was faulty, but take heed!

OCEANCUBED I agree completely with the previous post. Remote Buddy should have been built as standard into Tiger, perhaps when Apple see Remote Buddy they will integrate into Leopard?! Until that time comes I will gladly pay the developer for Remote Buddy, very well written piece of software.
