EJI  I've been checking the developer's site two, three times a day for news.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the absence of WideMail makes my entire upgrade to Snow Leopard seem half-finished. Letterbox just isn't the same.

I know WM is donationware, but still, getting on for two months since the public release is a relatively long time to wait. I wish Apple would just include a vertical view by default.

DAIYI  I had been using Widemail and have nothing but good things to say about it. Sent in a donation.

If you want this vertical view in Mail now, your only option is Letterbox, also a very fine application. I have had no issues at all since installing it recently. In the future, Letterbox will also feature a two-lined view.

Both great applications. Just wish there would be some word about Widemail. If not, many users may be going over to Letterbox out of impatience or "necessity."

MISHA  It's a professional video hardware solution. The firms that buy this sort of gear don't bat an eye at that price (they're the ones spending millions of dollars making movies).
