MacGourmet Deluxe | May 14 2009 |
NATE HOULE This app rocks! It just keeps getting better and better. Its definitely my favorite recipe manager, by a long shot. I feel guilty calling it a "recipe manager", it does soooooooooo much more. Shopping lists, portion conversion, access to nutritional information, etc. etc. One thing I can say about MacGourmet Deluxe that I can rarely say about any other application (regardless of genre) is that everything I've wanted to do, it does. This application is super intuitive. I can honestly say that I cook more now than ever before because of MacGourmet Deluxe. The developers have seriously thought of everything. Thanks a bunch Mariner, keep up the great work! (Version 1.2)

PocketMac RingtoneStudio | Nov 10 2008 |
NATE HOULE Sweet app! Does exactly what it says. Straight forward, easy-to-use drag and drop interface. Very quick, only 1 step, 2 if the length of the file exceeds 30 seconds. You can preview and edit everything from within the app. I like that I don't need to have my iPhone plugged in and that the ringtones are automatically added to my 'Ringtones' list in iTunes. Feels nice and light, overall great 1.1 release. No crashes or bugs, running 10.5.5 on a MBAir. Keep up the good work! (Version 1.1)

MacScan | Aug 19 2008 |
NATE HOULE Spyware outweighs virus threats for the Mac, and DNSChanger Trojan Horse is a perfect example of that. Its the widest reported threat to the Mac community, and the makers have been distributing new variants. MacScan is a proactive and enterprising utility for Mac OSX security. I've been using MacScan since 4/25/07 and haven't had any issues. The developers are consistently tweaking and improving it. Its obvious the developers at SecureMac take their jobs seriously and I wouldn't have this application on my computer if I didn't _know_ that. SecureMac is super responsive in regards to support/feedback and I believe they're genuinely concerned with betterment of this application. Keep up the good work! (Version 2.5.3)

Headline | Jul 22 2008 |
NATE HOULE Great application! I've only been playing around with it for a couple of hours and I'm hooked. The UI is awesome. I really like the preview functionality. Headline has all the right parts/features (Growl, Multimedia support, sharing, etc.) while maintaining its sleek, clean interface. Everything is very intuitive - If you're looking for a feed reader that is efficient and doesn't take any time to manage... This is it! Great 1.0 release, keep it up! (Version 1.0.2)

NATE HOULE Great app! I think a lot of people have been waiting for something like this to come along. I agree with the previous post. But this app seems very polished for a version 1.0. I haven't run into any problems/bugs yet. (Version 1.0.2)

Live Interior 3D Standard | Feb 29 2008 |
NATE HOULE This is a very, very powerful piece of software. I still haven't used half the capabilities this app has to offer and I've been a user since May 4th of 2007 ~had to check my MU download history ;-) Anyway, this has helped me out a great deal in the ongoing remodel of my condo. This software is very intuitive and Mac-like. However, as most powerful software; it takes some time to learn. I suggest you take a look at the Screencasts for it at the developers site. The Google 3D WarehouseTM integration is a really cool feature. All in all I would recommend this software to anyone that is interested in any sort of interior design, decoration, remodeling, or building projects. I can't comment on the 2D capabilities, because I've never really used them. But the 3D stuff ROCKS! (Version 1.5)

Kill Monty | Feb 29 2008 |
NATE HOULE Kill Monty is Awesome! This game is really straight forward and easy to learn. That being said, you can make it as difficult as you want. The music isn't annoying, as is the case w/ most games I play. Sound f/x are really good too. Apparently theres an online mode but I can't comment on that because I haven't tried it. Overall this is a great game, I honestly can't think of anything that would make it any better... I guess, just keep adding new weapons. Great game, _very_ addicting! No stability issues. Runs great in both "full screen" and "window" views on my 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. (Version 1.1)

iStabilize | Dec 1 2007 |
NATE HOULE Recently used this app to help a friend recover/fix some footage of a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. "Preview Mode" is essential for someone like myself, who doesn't do a lot of video editing. Tracking takes a while for longer clips, big deal, it's worth the wait. Reading the documentation is a must, as there are steps you need to take (ie creating "Control Tracks") before you can actually begin editing. Overall, does what it says, relatively straight forward and painless (assuming you've read the documentation). Priceless tool for someone with good footage that has been tainted by a shaky hand or shotty "built in" image stabilization. Can't wait to try it out on some snowboarding footage, if we'd ever get some SNOW!!!!! Worst winter ever :-( (Version 2.2.2)

XMIND | Dec 1 2007 |
NATE HOULE Overall, this is the best mind mapping software I've used. "Presentation Mode" is one of many strong points this app has to offer. You can edit on the fly, and add voice notes while operating in presentation mode, super efficient! Also, the "Drilldown / Drillup", and "Audio Notes" are really cool features. Compatibility with MS Office worked seamlessly. Support is great, very prompt, very helpful. All in all, its obvious the developers truly value their customers. BTW, you can register XMIND Pro on two computers, and one of them can be a whatchamacallit... Oh yeah, pc ;-) (Version 2.0.4)

Monopoly Here & Now | Oct 12 2007 |
NATE HOULE I've been playing this game for the last couple of days. Kills time very efficiently ;-) Before this I hadn't played Monopoly since I was a kid. Now I remember why I enjoyed it so much! Anyway, I really like all aspects of the game, minus sound. Also, I haven't tried playing online yet so I can't comment on the online mode functionality. That being said I'm more than content playing against multiple computer opponents. I really like being able to adjust the computer characters AI individually. Great game, just like the real thing. MacPool | Sep 22 2007 |
NATE HOULE I downloaded and played this game earlier today. I'm an avid pool player and honestly didn't think this simulation would be able to keep my attention. I was wrong, the physics are good, and I really enjoyed the gameplay. I've actually become quite addicted to it. (Version 8.0)

NATE HOULE I'm an avid pool player. However, this is the first pool simulation I've ever played. The physics seem up to par, and I really like the "Table Quality" adjustment. I have yet to experience any bugs. But it should be noted, I haven't played online yet. Overall the gameplay is very good, and quite addicting. (Version 8.0)

HVC Color Composer Pro | Jul 23 2007 |
NATE HOULE WOW! After using this sofware for about a week now I honestly don't know how I survived without it. It takes all the guesswork out of matching/harmonizing colors. Not only has Color Composer made my job easier, it saves my most valued resource... TIME! The only "downfall" of this software is that it takes some time to learn. But that seems to be the norm when working with such powerful software. Also, Master-Colors website does have some nifty tutorial videos and templates to help walk you through the motions. I was just too impatient to view 'em. All in all, this software is a huge time saver, and easily the best I've used in it's class. (Version 1.3.2)

ALL applications are 100% legit. They have not been "watered down" by developers in any way, shape, or form. You will receive the same functionality, service, and support, as customers paying full price for the software. Regarding TechTool Pro, it _is_ the full "Pro" version. You simply download the file and burn it to DVD. Or you can order the DVD by mail for $25. Understand, you do _not_ need to order the DVD. You will get the same software, service, and support by simply downloading and burning the DVD yourself. Hope this clears things up a little :-) (Version )
