These 5+ year old games are still extremely popular games. What's more important, the modern game 500 people play, or the 5 year old game 5000 people play? The whole reason this is an issue to people like me is because a lot of my friends play D2 and SC online, and so do I.

And the problem is not old hardware, it's new hardware. This only effects Intel macs, and mostly the more recent ones. However, the games worked fine until 10.5.3, due to Apple's arbitrarily removing 256 color support from the graphics drivers for several cards with no warning.

No, it's an NVidia and Intel integrated graphics on Intel Mac thing. Sorry for not specifying.

One, it wasn't Blizzard's fault. Their games worked perfectly fine for many years, then suddenly broke in the 10.5.3 update. Two, Blizzard _did_ try to fix it, but it was out of their power to fix without re-writing a ton of the code for 5+ year old games. Three, most importantly, it wasn't just Blizzard's games that broke, Fallout 1 and 2 also broke, as did other games utilizing what Apple broke.

Doesn't fix what they broke in 10.5.3 that made a bunch of older games (Starcraft, Diablo 2, Fallout, etc.) crash on startup. :(

It's one of those games that fullscreens to a low resolution by default, and totally screws up the size and placement of all other open windows.

Uh, is this not a plugin? It's packaged in an installer that requires authentication to run, so I didn't install it. If it doesn't have to modify existing files, could you make it a drag-and-drop file, or at least give the installer the option to install for only this user?

No worries. I understand it's still in development, and want to help when I run across anything that is likely to be a glitch.

Shows a lot of promise. Question for dev: I died and continued on the 6th level, and all but the blue teleport pad disappeared. Is that a bug, or is it supposed to happen?

This app is absolutely wonderful! No more raucous squeal waking me up in the morning. No more worrying about whether or not I remembered to set the alarm for the right time. Waking up to good music at the right time on the right days is how an alarm clock should be. I can't think of any ways to improve the intuitiveness of this app, and I can't think of any features it could use that would be useful outside of extremely specific circumstances. It's also never crashed or otherwise had any bugs, from my experience of using it for several months.

It's a glitch on Apple's end, from the looks of things. Since I don't expect them to fix it any time soon, I humbly request, if you (the developer) can easily do so, that you add the ability to choose what sound output device Alarm Clock uses. I think if I were able to set it to Line Out at all times, it would always play through my speakers.

Firstly, thanks for this app, it's been of real use to me. Secondly, I had been using version 2.3.8 on my Mac Pro (not sure how, when I think of it, I must've copied it from my G5) until today, when I missed class because it played through my headphones instead of my speakers. I updated, ran some tests, and the problem seems to have gone away.

Was something fixed between 2.3.8 and 2.4.2 that rectified this problem, or is it a glitch of Apple's Sound or SoundMenu?

Detour is PPC. It will _run_ on a Mac Pro, presumably, but not as well as a universal binary would.

So what? It's not like the developer is charging for it.

Great little simulation game. Though the progression of it (it's slow, which makes sense as the game goes on even when not open, unless you pause it) might put off some people, I find it to be a fun, relaxing game. You don't play it for hours on end, you just start it up every so often, check on things, and make any changes you need to, then just watch your villagers do things, or try to figure out how to solve the various puzzles on the island.

The developer was very helpful in troubleshooting, and I eventually got it to work, and it seems perfectly stable and does what it should. The only hitch is that as of 1.1b1 it seems your Dofus folder must be named "Dofus" or Dofex won't work. As for features, my only complaint is that it either resizes the window at startup, or doesn't remember the size of the window when you quit, which can be a bit annoying if you play the game larger than "normal" size. Aside from that, great, helpful little app! Thanks for making it!

Sorry I didn't RTFM before asking for help. Unfortunately, moving Dofex to the same directory as Dofus.html didn't solve the problem. I'm still getting a blank window, and there's no console output to find the problem with. :( I didn't think it would matter, but just in case, I tried setting Safari as my default browser and testing it, along with removing third party plugins from Safari and testing. No luck.

Doesn't work on my dual 2 Ghz G5 with OS 10.4.8. It loads a window with no content (just whiteness) and stays that way. I disabled Application Enhancer for it, and checked the console for any other possible conflicts, but couldn't get it to work.

Possibly one of the best 2D platform games ever made. I even like it better than Super Metroid, hard as that may be to believe.

Um, just to note, there's already an app called Democracy out there, and it's been around for a while now.http://www.getdemocracy.com/ I think there may be some confusion between that and this if they both have the same name.
