MRGANDO You guys should try "chromatic" , it installs latest Chromium development version which is pretty good, except for PDF handling... but it's being worked on :-) (Version 4.0.237.0)

MRGANDO This has actually a lot of potential, I find it pretty good. Has some usability details to fix but I think it's nothing that big. 1- The part where you write text, should resize when you are not writing anything on it. to save space :) 2- The "Direct Message" Icon over the user Icon should be different, and in other color, ( many people use black and white pictures, and a black and white envelope Icon tends to mix with the picture ) 3- How can I change the "link" color from blue ? Overall great, free, and I will be using this for a while :) PS: if I can help with the development somehow, just let me know. (Version 2.2.2)

VMware Fusion | Oct 29 2009 |
MRGANDO Ok, I have been using this piece of software for a while, I bought 3.0, I'm a believer that one should buy software that uses. I use VMware for work, light gaming ( MTGO ) and more stuff... yeah boot camp is faster ( obviously , it's not virtualized ) , but what is more comfortable that having Windows/Linux VM when I need it ? MRGANDO This application is amazing, the price can't be beat, and it's packed with cool features. Low on memory usage too, the "automate" on connect has always proven very useful for me. Also the stability has always been rock solid for me. Thank you for this, and keep up the good work. _NG (Version 2.2.1(4132))

MRGANDO Great piece of software, thanks for making it open source :) . I'm giving you 5 stars, couldn't be much better, maybe better graphics in the GUI , but I don't really care about that. ( Don't really know why no one has given this app 5 stars )

SmartSVN | May 28 2009 |
MRGANDO I really like smartSVN for big project managing, I tried svnX but it failed to connect to my svn server ( that has some tweaked settings for extra security ). So since then using smartSVN, I just use the "free" non pro version, but it does everything I really need. It's also quite intuitive to use, the only cons is that is written in java, but it's a multi-platform app so I can see that happening.

VMware Fusion | May 6 2009 |
MRGANDO Okay, I'm a Software Developer and also a Computer Science Student. VMware Fusion has worked wonders for me for doing database work in Windows environments, Installing Oracle, SQLServer and working with those via Visual Studio 2008 has been really easy and flawless for me, I'm not doing that kind of stuff anymore, but I would really recommend VMWare Fusion to do so. Currently I have a MacBook 2007 ,2ghz, 3GB RAM. And use a windows XP VM from time to time with 800 MB allocated to it. Fusion has worked wonderfully for me, I remember trying to achieve this on parallels 3, it was SO slow, migrated to Fusion and my problems where over. If you develop multi platform ( Linux, Windows, Mac OS X ), I think Fusion is what transforms my MacBook in a Software developer Swiss Army Knife, making it a flexible machine to work in multiple Operating Systems, with the core of the stable OSX Leopard. If you're like me, this is your software.

"Error: unable to locate svn binary." use that path on prefs, still shows error. If this gets fixed I could actually use this, I really love the idea of having it working.

Cog | Mar 10 2009 |
MRGANDO I remember when iTunes first arrived, the problem with iTunes is that it's trying to do it all. That has never worked, that's also the microsoft approach :P. Take a look at the good old UNIX, one app that performs specific functions well defined, and in a very easy and productive way. iTunes has grown to become a beast, for large collections it's REALLY bad, it get's really choppy , and RAM usage goes to the roof. There's nothing close to foobar2k for mac ( I think it's one of the best windows only apps out there ). But Cog, oh dear, Cog is amazing, very fast, can play FLAC flawlessly. This is the ways applications should be designed. It needs work, but it's an amazing piece of software. Keep the good work! (Version 0.07)

Apple iTunes | Jul 10 2008 |
MRGANDO I agree with many others, this application is getting fatter and fatter. I don't have an iPhone , and I still have to install like 200 MB . I am not using iTunes anymore sinve version 7.x , I am using Cog , it's a lot simpler, it supports .flac files, .ape files, etc. I really like it , it uses a lot less RAM and has pretty nice support. If you don't need a lot of fancy stuff, maybe that player is for you . (Version 7.7)

ILGAZ You should never use 'sudo` for fink. Fink automatically asks your admin password if it needs it. Also you can use fink rebuild fink, fink reinstall fink to reinstall it. fink index -f will force the re-indexing which takes care of what is installed or not (including system gcc) Their community and developers are particularly helpful, you should go to irc://irc.freenode.net/#fink for help. SOMEONE Websites can still obtain an IP address, but it certainly won't be your IP address. It will be the IP of another onion router on the network. (Version 0.1.1.23)

Tor | Oct 1 2006 |
DOM21 The way I understand it, the IP address captured by a website someone else visited may be YOURS if you connect to TOR. Let's face it, you don't know where someone else using TOR is going on the web or what data he's sending. His IP will be hidden but the exit TOR user's will not. The site he visited may be very objectionable to you if you knew. It's a crapshoot whose exit IP TOR will use in the connection. Maybe yours, maybe someone else's. Thus you could be the one logged as having visited an illegal site even though you didn't. Correct me if I have this all wrong. (Version 0.1.1.24)
