Transmit gives you a very nice GUI and iss very easy in use. However data transfer is very slow and unstable. I've tried to copy 250 GB of date to my NAS and i got only a max. 5 MB/s transfer speed. On top of that Transmit always got files witch could not be transferred and terminated the connection completly giving you no feedback what has been already copied and what not. Not worth it's money at all. I've tried the same thing using FileZila and it works like a charm. Of course there is still data witch can't be transferred but FileZila doesn't quit the connection and continues copying the other files moving the not copied files to a seperate window. GUI is not very nice but compared to Transmit it works. |

Anther useless update witch won't find any viruses at all on our test system. Don't give me that crap that it only finds Mac viruses because there aren't any (except OS9 ones)! An antivirus software witch only finds non existing Mac viruses and no Windows viruses at all is practically useless. NAV itself is a bigger thread to your Mac than all viruses together. NAV can completly destroy your file system when loading some system updates. Ah, and i forgot to mention that NAV is extremly slow compared to other Mac virus scanners. If you don't want to waste your money on this dangerous and non working crap try clamXav witch is free and does a perfect job. |

EyeConnect is a easy to use MediaCenter for OSX. It supports many diffrent devices like Sony's PS3. Unfortunatly PS3 support is not very stable at the moment. The only issue here is the price 49,95$ is way too expensive and absolutly not worth the software. If you're looking for a better MediaCenter then try MediaLink witch is only 20$. An an alternativ you can also try Twonky Media. |

As for now i've tested three diffrent Mediaservers for OSX and my PS3. Twonky Media scores third behind EyeConnect and the winner MediaLink. Twonky Media is not very easy to use (compared with the other tow) an still costs 29,95$. MediaLink's only 20$). Twonky has many features indeed, but no full integration in iLife (except iTunes). Also starting up or spting the server is very fishy and far from user friendly. Allthough it's a good Media Center software but there are better and cheaper solutions on the sofware market. In my oppinion Twonky must be freeware. |

Well worth it's money. Works perfectly with my PS3 and gives complete access to my iTunes, iPhoto and movie libraries. What's still missing are some trancoding functions for movies that aren't nativly supported by the PS3 (like MKV for example). A funktion like "Automagic transcoding" (like in connect360, also from Nullriver) witch converts a movie on the fly to a compatible PS3 format would be great, so i can stream even unsupported media to my PS3. For those who have problems: If your PS3 and Mac are connectet to a non uPnP capable router you have to forward TCP port 51413 to the IP of your Mac where MediaLink is installed. To uninstall you just have to stop MediaLink and delete the preferencePane in /library/preferencePanes, that's it. |

I realy like the new look and feel of Office 2008. It's more Mac like than before and there are many functions, templates and compatibility present. Also the installation went quite good without any problems. Unfortunatly Office 2008 is slow, very slow! I thougt with the new UB architecture it will run like hell on intel Macs. But in fact it's slower than Office 2004 under rosetta and also much slower than NeoOffice or OpenOffice. Also Office 2007 on Windows runs much faster. I'm using a 24 inch iMac with 2,8GHz Core2extreme CPU and 4GB RAM and Office 2008 is still slower than any other office suite on my 1st generation MacBook with 2GHz CoreDuo CPU and 2GB RAM. |

@HUBBERBUBMAN Reading improves intelligence. This issue seems only regard to version 1.9.1. If you still think it's a joke then read this in the developer Titanium Software forum: http://www.titanium.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=564 |

Another useless app. The in OSX integrated DiskUtility tool does the same job out of the box for free and even more. If you don't wanna waste your money but still use another tool than DiskUtility, there are DropDMG and DMG Converter witch are way better than this junk. |

Good app but useless. You can use the OSX disk utility to create a 256bit encrypted disk image for free. In combination with automater it's also possible to create a program witch does the same job (also with drag & drop) for free. It's up to you to pay 20$ or do it for free with OSX disk utility. |

The actual version 5540 doesen't work at all on OSX 10.5 ! From one moment to the other Parallels stoped working and only had errors during program startup. Also it's impossible to install Parallels again, the installer allways hangs up immediatly. Fixing file permission or deleting related files by hand doesen't work either. So at the moment Paralles is usless with leopard, it simply doesen't work! |

Disk image creation doesen't work anymore in v3.0 ! In the former beta v.3.0b5 this feature works without a problem. I always get filesystem errors or the disk cannot be found (witch is defenitly there and with enough free space on it). Unfortunatly this version is no use for me :-( |

The idea behind Desinstaller quite good but the actual tool realy has an very annoying behaviors. It often crashes, does not respond anymore and gets may authorisation errors for what's ever. But sometimes it realy works and deletes all files assosiated with the installer. |

I expected much of VMWare and now i'm very disapointed. Compared to the PC/Linux version VMWare for OSX much less features. I hoped that i could import and use my VM machines from Windows on my Mac, but it's impossible to import any of them. It's also impossible to open a windows installation witch was made with Bootcamp. For now i can only recommend Parallels for OSX wich has all features you need. |

Very good tool just like AppZapper but for free. Uninstallation of most tools & legacy files like prefs etc works very good and saves you a lot of time. Maybe other tools are doing a better job and can even uninstall more stuff but not for free! For simple use uApp is the best. |

Very good software suite and it's free! Works hand in hand with most Micro$oft formats with a few little beauty faults. Unfortunatlly OpenOffice is not very user friendly and uses the X11 window system. Especialy beginners have lots of problems with OpenOffice. Why isn't there a real OSX version like for Window$ or Linux? I recommend to try NeoOffice. It bases on Java and OpenOffice and provides a much more user friendly interface. It's almost to have a real OSX app in front of you and it's free too. |

This Software doesn't work for me. I tried the latest beta on my MacBook but it's impossible to install and launch any Windows app. The only thing that happens is, my CPU runs at 100% and nothing more, no installation and no running program, absolutly nothing! Take an example from Parallels for Mac cause this software works perfectly. |

OK, as suggested i've updated all my ROM's (about 120) and still half of them won't run on MacMame 0.103u2. I could live with that issue cause most not running ROM's aren't too good games. But why, please tell my why isn't it possible to configure USB joypads anymore? Without this function most games are absolutly unplayable. Using the Mac keyboard isn't an option either or have you ever tried to play "Metal Slug" with a keyboard? It's impossible. |

Now that's the absolutly worst version of MacMame ever! Half of the ROM's won't work anymore, it's not possible to configure any USB joypads, and for some reasons (no matter what i do) the direction buttons down and right seem to hang, so in every game my character moves to thr lower-right corner of the screen without touching any button! This version realy sucks! The last good working version was 0.77u2a |
