MIKE_THE_MAGICIAN  For 8 bucks you have to work harder, mate. Kills my iCal regularly. Get many AppleScript Errors while adding relative alarms to Events. Afterwards your GUI crashes as well

WOODEN BRAIN CONCEPTS  As always, please email developers with bug reports. They will be corrected when they are known. Unfortunately if this is a problem it was not caught for the 1.1 release but will be for the next.

WOODEN BRAIN CONCEPTS  The errors related to "adding relative alarms to Events" was due to a bug in Leopard. It had not been caught until I saw this posting. It is now fixed in 1.1.2. Other mentioned bugs I have not been able to reproduce. The GUI crash may be related to the first bug. Once again, it will be much more helpful to communicate with developers when software has problems so that those problems can be fixed. Developers may only read forum comments when they post new versions if at all, so that just delays getting them fixed.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  It's difficult (why, I don't know) to get people to understand that MacUpdate is an outlet for softwares and that when issues arise with a given software that the developer(s) should be contacted directly via their respective websites.

I post frequently in response to 'trouble' posts here at MacUpdate, telling people to contact the developer.

We're (MacUpdate) not the manufacturer, folks!

SCOTT.GARDNER  @MACUPDATE ADMIN Then why have a Troubleshooting category if you don't want these types of posts? I have found that, when a developer does not respond to emails, posting the exact same message to macupdate.com gets an immediate response. Should you shun or welcome the opportunity to be the Twitter of Mac software?
