MICHAEL WILLIAMS  If you would like I can make a version that when opened it will disable the dashbaord and then exit. That way you can then just chuck in in StartUp item's folder. If you want get really technical then you can use a program (I can't remember what's it's called) that will hide the application icon from the dock so no one notices.

I have noticed that sometimes the program doesn't work first time. Try restarting your computer and then running it. Just keep running it till the dashboard goes away. It will work after awhile.

I'm not sure what causes this but I think it's something to do with the apple side of things.
