MERRY BOY yeah if u dont know what ur doing like, its better to just piss off, im really in deep, i have no clu what to do, tried installing heaps of other apps, typing in terminal command lines, and im still screwed, so yeah , if u think this is easy , nice little app that u can just pick and go with, think again.

MERRY BOY seems to not do all to much, but now disk utility refuses to repair permissons, shows them says its repaired them, hit it again and "boom!" hundreds of errors, all the same asking to be fixed, and i think its slowing down my startup.

MACUPDATE ADMIN Those are not errors and they do not need to be fixed, they are advisories, such as: "We are using special permissions for the file or directory ./Applications/DVD Player.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/StatusWindow.nib/objects.xib. New permissions are 33204" There is nothing wrong here, that is an advisory, and yes there are many of them. This is normal.

BRUCE_Y See Apple support site article 107298, "Disk Utility reports some messages that you can ignore when checking permissions" at location : docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107298 These are status messages and can be ignored. Also, I recommend: Please post a request for enhancement to the Apple OS X feedback site at: www.apple.com/macosx/feedback and ask Apple to turn OFF (or make them optional) those dozens of "special permissions" messages.

MERRY BOY yup worked perfect, dosent really let you now if its worked, first time i didnt think it had worked then i find all these pics of myself on my desktop, and i was taking it with a non-iSight camera, i think if it works with photobooth or imovie it should work.
