MARY.OJ  I updated to new GmailStatus version, but didn't work for me.... no numbers for "unread messages", could not set color preferences.. nothing. The application was there, but invisible.. I'm testing now Google Notifier. It stands beautifully in my tool bar and I can read from there the senders of my unread mail! Wow!
