HEAVY_BABY Acqlite development will be restarted after Cabos 0.7.9 release. New Acqlite 0.3 will include latest Cabos core. (Version 0.7.8)

Cabos | Feb 20 2008 |
BUMBLEB Heavy B, why are you developing two gnutella apps instead of just one? wouldn't it make more sense focusing your nice efforts into one app? Please enlighten me;-) (Version 0.7.8)

Cabos | Feb 21 2008 |
HEAVY_BABY First, Acqlite is not my own product. It was pozytron's. But I have joined to the project to import Cabos core into Acqlite. Second, Cabos is written in Rapid Development Environment. It's easy to handle for me. (Version 0.7.8)

HEAVY_BABY For technical resons, Cabos will not be Universal Binary. If you want use in Intel Mac, please use Acqlite instead. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12747 (Version 0.8)

MACROXX I tried it out on MacOS 10.4 and even if it's old it still displays my IP correctly. I wish there would be a UB or an intel version... (Version 2.0.1)

Xupport | Jan 12 2008 |
MACROXX I have a problem with invisible files. Xupport made them visible, but it can't make them invisible again. I tried it several times, but Xupport always fails to make them invisible. Xupport also has problems finding the Terminal... I wonder where I have hidden it. Ohh, it's in the standard folder, I haven't moved the Terminal out of it. But Xupport keeps asking for the Terminal. Xupport says it's the "swiss army knife" and that might be true, because both don't really work.

iArchiver | Dec 10 2007 |
MACROXX Very nice archiving tool. The about box says something about "The swiss army knife for archiving", but that's not true! iArchiver is much better than a swiss army knife. Swiss army knifes suck at archiving and iArchiver is an Austrian tool (thank god !). iArchiver is THE Austrian Archiver. My grandpa always said: "Never try to hide behind a swiss army knife, that doesn't help." Well, I think Crocodile Dundee would agree. (Version 1.1.6)

MACROXX Beware: v0.95 never verifies the data, so I cannot upload and lose the data if I restart the program. I went back to v0.94. Dear Transmisson developers, please check the program before releasing it !

Site Studio | Nov 29 2007 |
From what I can determine, author Tommy Pavlicek was a recent high school graduate who grew disenchanted with software development after RapidWeaver stole Site Studio's thunder. He appears to have moved on ... not just to university, but to a lucrative career as a world-class poker player! It's really a shame, though: this unfairly-overlooked app fairly drips with elegance. It hums along just fine under 10.4.11 and packs some amazing capabilities, given its tiny footprint. (Version 1.1.1)

Site Studio | Nov 29 2007 |
MACUPDATE ADMIN Runs fine on my MacBookPro, OS X 10.4.11, as well. FWIW, I've just now uploaded a copy of Site Studio to the MacUpdate server so it will always be available. (Version 1.1.1)

VideoSpec | Nov 3 2007 |
MACROXX Great tool which works nicely. Features I would like to see in future versions : - the possibility to compare the specs of two files - the possibility to save the specs of a file as text Keep up the good work and thank you !

BitClamp | Nov 2 2007 |
MACROXX What does BitClamp offer ? - encryption (up to 128 Bit AES) What does BetterZip offer ? - encryption (up to 256 Bit AES) - several different compression options (encryptable are zip, 7zip and rar) What does Compress Files offer ? - encryption (up to 256 Bit AES) - several different compression options (encryptable are zip, 7zip and dmg) What does SimplyRAR offer ? - encryption (128 Bit AES) - Price tag: $ 0 = free ! Comparison inspired by BitClamp's claim of being "Light weight" (quote from its description) : Conclusion: there is a lot of competition out there. Other programs offer better encryption (as far as I know 256 Bit AES is more secure than 128 Bit AES) and/or they offer better compression formats (7zip and rar usually create smaller archives than Gzip) and/or they cost less.

JPPAGLIARO ore features coming, especially other image formats. Registration unlocks ALL Limit Point Software utilities. (Version 1.0)

DropImageURL | Oct 16 2007 |
JPPAGLIARO Okay, so I just updated DropImageURL so that it can output into various graphic file formats: TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, PICT, Photoshop, QuickTime, MacPaint and JPEG2000. I also added a preferences window for configuring various other options: 1) You can specify a scale factor as a percentage. 2) You can specify an output directory 3) You can opt to have the comment set to the URL being imaged 4) You can have the program automatically open the generated file, or select it in the Finder. I also added some items to the Dock menu for 2) imaging the frontmost window of your web browser. I have numerous other features on the queue, but I am open to suggestions!

MACROXX Very nice Website Tool. After you have created a website template it is very easy to add pages with new content. You can also use the Markdown syntax in addition to HTML which simplifies the page creation. I hope that the developpement of Bygga goes on and that more features are going to be added. PDFInfo | Jun 5 2007 |
MACROXX This program could become a very nice PDF tool. It would be great if one could save presets (so that you don't have to retype the same information). All the changed texts start with two strange and unwanted characters (which look like "yp", you can see them with the program "Preview" in the "Document information" window in the "Details" section). All the changed texts have unwanted spaces between every letter. Maybe the described problems occured because I did something wrongly, but I don't think so.

MACROXX Finally Cocoazip has a nice interface and is easy to use. I use MacOS 10.3.9 and Cocoazip does not delete the temporay zip files which it creates in the /private/tmp folder. It would be good if it could do that in the next version.
