Or better yet, DEV, answer them here, as then we all get to see it. In the original post, the sentence with the question mark (?) behind it is the question. That's how English grammar works. |

>>>should be suing Apple for ruining a whole week's worth of work if I weren't such a forgiving soul. Are you not sueing because you are so forgiving, or because you know it would be a waste of your time and money AND you would still loose the lawsuit? ;) |

Yeah, never run an app off of the disk image, ESPECIALLY when the read me tells you not to. It is pretty foolish to leave a negative comment about an app because you can't follow directions. |

Nice little app! Glad to see this has been updated for Intel. And still free. Keep it up! |

gazman - with the fan running all the time, yes, it should run cooler. But notebooks are designed to handle a little heat, and Apple originally designed the MacBook that way, so is it necessary to run the fan all the time? No. Apple is forced to make the fan all the time as the only solutioin to fix the mooing in certain MacBooks. The question is, do you want to put up with the noise of the fan running all the time? I work in a silent environment and prefer it to stay that way. |

I read on another forum that a MacBook user, who did not have a mooing MB, applied this update, and then he noticed his fan on all the time. Now his silent MacBook is making noise, noise from the fan constantly spinning. Just a word of warning to those without the moo who like their MacBook as it is -- IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT! I do not think I am going to apply this update because I don't want my fan spinning all the time. |

I have loved Meteorologist over the past couple of years, even with the weather.com changes that have created downtime in the past. ;) Thanks to the developer(s) who have kept this going. I was looking for an Intel native version and found one here: http://zeroth.org/xfiles/Meteorologist_1.4.4_Intel.dmg Note that the above link NOT Universal, meaning that this is ONLY for Intel Macs and not PowerPC Macs. |

>Would be great to have an "Airport signal strength" meter!! < Apple already includes an "Airport signal strength" meter in the OS. Open Network preferences, show: Airport, then check "Show Airport status in menu bar." It has 4 bars to show airport signal strength. |

First, I appreciate your efforts. And the improvements you have made are nice, especially finder copying. I tried the full view, which IS a larger icon, but I don't care for that viewing angle of the MB. I downloaded a couple of freeware utilities here on MacUpdate, found Apple's stock photos, and made my own icon that is full width. Also, for some reason, the icons I made are black, while the straight shot of the black MacBook from dpoint design appears dark gray in comparison. Have a look: http://home.earthlink.net/~macbook/macbookblackicon.sit |

I had always downloaded Mac icons other people made to replace my hard disk icon. But now I purchased a MacBook, and the only MacBook icon I found was a little small, so I downloaded IconBuilder to try to make my own MacBook icon using Photoshop Elements. After spending over an hour reading the tutorial and attempting to create my own MacBook icon, I failed. Then I ran across Easy Bake Icon and IconDroplet, and with those freeware tools, I was able to create my own MacBook icon in a matter of minutes! IconBuilder may be right for others, but for me, the freeware tools were the way to go. It was so fun and easy, I might just make myself a few more icons. |

Like the other poster, at first I could not figure out how to use these icons. Apparently one needs "IconDroplet," but the developer failed to include this information in the read me. Also, the icons are very small. I have my desktop icon size set to 48 x 48, and the MacBook icon is tiny in comparison to all other icons. There appears to be too much invisible border around icon. I'm going to look for another MacBook icon. |

FINAL CUT EXPRESS WILL RUN JUST FINE ON A MACBOOK. In yesterday's news on xlr8yourmac.com, a user commented that Final Cut Pro 5.1 runs JUST FINE on a Mac Mini 1.5GHz core solo with the same GMA950 graphics card as the MacBook. Quote: "Final Cut starts and runs fine... To say it installed and worked is an understatement, I was blown away it worked!!" No doubt Final Cut Express will have no trouble on the much faster core duo 1.83/2.0GHz MacBooks. |

Umm... your previous version hasn't stopped working since the new one came out, has it? If not, then what's the problem? You don't have to upgrade, you know. I'm still using FCE 2. Since I just bought a MacBook, I'll probably upgrade for the $99 price to get this Intel native version. You have every right to be upset with your poor timing, but don't take it out on Apple nor call them a bunch of thieves. You wouldn't work for free, would you? |

What fun is there in a game if there is no challenge to it? And, once you improve your hand/eye coordination, then you won't think it to hard, now will you, hmmm?!? |
