The frickin' software was released on June 18, 2008. I was wondering why MU and VT need 15 days to update their entries on iDefrag

I don't think updating the demo version is an urgency (altough a nice thing to do), looking at that version potential customer will already now what is being offered

I've been using this app since I was relatively new to Mac

Great little app, never failed me, and the Pro version is just 5 dollar

Would like to see an updated app and GUI icons

Personal Finance for everyone

-GUI matched Leopard well, looks very pretty

-easy to use, the help is almost useless

-lack of unnecessary functions, which is good

-heavily discounted, when I bought it

Looks like something directly ripped from a Windows PC...

Maybe the author need some love (donation) altough he doesn't strictly request it

Supporting a extremely popular free app is not easy I believe

Enormous traffic and e-mail are some obvious major headache

I can't register!!!

Downloaded both from Kandalu and macupdate, and the app from both sources has the 'Registration' on the menu grayed out (inaccesible)

Decent Match3 game

But, what I like the best is:

Superb tech support!!! The developer are responsive and very open to suggestions

No Vanna White

Repetitive character animation

The rest of the characters always clapping their hands in very same manner (altough different timing) each time one character spinning the wheel

Narrow character customization

Once, One of the opponent is an exact replica of my character

Cool concept

the strawberry sprites could be improved, you could still see white borders, and the sprite resolution is low

If only you made this statement earlier instead of the previous statements...

I starting to believe that this is a PR blunder caused by lack of marketing sense

Previous version reviews I read indicated that you have repeated some marketing mistakes a few times

I hope you can take this as a lesson for your future reference in doing business

Since I haven't rate your app previously... here's mine :)

You 'forgot' to mentioned the fact in that 'press release' that, not until a few hours of SD5 release and people start complaining did you 'revise/add' the clause in your website to exclude MacHeist customers and also the description in Auto Updater

So you shouldn't really put the whole blame to MacHeist, that's kinda unfair...

Oh, one more thing:

You 'forgot' to mention the fact in that press release that not until a few hours of SD5 release and people start complaining did you 'revise' the clause in your website to exclude MacHeist customers and also the description in Auto Updater

so you shouldn't really put the whole blame to MacHeist, that's really not fair...

OK

But don't you think it would be fair if you also offer 7.5 or 8 dollar for single MH upgrade?

There are some people who only have 1 Mac, and they probably too 'reluctant' to donate their license (and if they are willing, it will probably against your company policy (non transferable license or something like that)

Fair enough...

upgrade fee from version 4 is 15 $ not 25

The timing could have been better, Like the previous guy said:

Release in March, free upgrades for those who buy in Feb

They also should have made a public announcement during MacHeist 2 at least on their website, not a few hours after people started complaining

Despite who is right or wrong: These guys just committed PR suicide with their policy

Please note that while Things is free until its final release in Spring 2008, it now uses an expiration date of April 15, 2008. If you want to continue using Things 0.8.5 for free even beyond its final release, then you should make a backup of the application before you download and install this or future updates.

That's what the updater said when I tried to update to 0.8.6 from 0.8.5

IMHO, the best overall Note management app which doesn't cost a dime (donation requested)

I always coming back to this app, after trying other similar apps

Too bad the main/GUI icon and overall interface hasn't been optimized for Leopard...

Really looking forward for next release

I played for a while with PulpMotion, now I know why it is the 'ultimate' locked app in current MacUpdate Bundle

It blows away other featured 'locked' apps, decently priced, yet allow us to install on 2 computers

Great program,

Use the optimize algorithm once in a while and the quick algorithm every 2-3 weeks to keep my Mac in tip top shape

technical support is good (fast and friendly)
