Fan Control	Oct 28 2007	KEZ using this or smcFancontrol (also Free) with CoolBook to undervolt my MBP CD I can sit with it on my lap until the battery runs flat and not cook my legs!. Coolbook also extends battery life due to less power usage. Give it a try and trust me in a mobile situation you will be amazed. (Version 1.2)		0

Shimo	Nov 27 2006	KEZ Hmm strange it works fine with me on my MBP and 10.4.8 with the cisco 4.9.0050 build. I did notice that it wouldnt connect but that was because my router was blocking the VPN ports, after allowing them all was good. No Probs (Version 0.9.5)		0

Shimo	Nov 25 2006	KEZ You might need to check if you have the current (universal) cisco client. I had exactly the same issues but found it was the Cisco (PPC) version framework that doesnt play nice with my MacBook Pro. Although not stated as Required for Intel Machines Cisco VPN client 4.9.0050 IS required. Hope this helps (Version 0.9.5)		0

LLSCOTTS Sorry about the link... I haven't had a chance to add it to my blog site yet. I've changed the link to point to my old software page.

About the slowness... Yesterday my server was having huge problems because of heavy load. I think it's better today. Once I have a chance to learn how, I'd like to convert the database to use CoreData rather than an external database, which will of course make it much snappier.

Also, xCuts isn't designed to handle character code shortcuts. If there is enough demand for that, I can add that later. One of the main areas of enhancement will be to add a broader array of keyboard shortcuts... for example, for Quicksilver, Mail, Safari, etc. As stated in the intro text, this covers the usual type of shortcuts that Apple includes in its own documentation.
