ALBION  As usual, MaNGOSx does not work. It downloads the script, then can't find it. It does not seem to be compatible with MAMP 1.7.1's SQL. Installation and usage instructions are vague and often wrong. Developer forums aren't much better. Goes nowhere, does nothing. Standard behavior for this app through many revisions.

FRED3RIK  My experiences are very different from yours. MaNGOSx has worked pretty much perfectly for me (using MAMP 1.7.1) through all revisions, as long as I've deleted the earlier version's files before updating (there's probably a better way).

PAULDY  Two things to fix this a mysqlpackage from the authors page then a second set of SQL files and your up and running. I to have tried most ever version I've seen none of them have worked, determined to get it working I discovered the fixes for this one.

PAULDY  LOL @Keyes according to your post history you already went through the whole problem with the mysql dynamic libraries and according to the author of the SQL files the upgrade takes care of an extra column in the creatures table and new installs have it missing requiring the use of the external files. It works fine for me to, unfortunately not right out of the box though.
