KEVIN_C  Saves streams as AIFF and you then export to MP3 later. This fills up disks in no time. Not sure why the author isn't ripping directly to MP3.

KEVIN_C  Works OK as long as the remote port is 5900. Anything other than 5900 on the remote host fails to connect.

OZEAN  Huh? Works for me with other ports too. (All in the 590x range.)

****.

KEVIN_C  I really want to like this player, but it has some real annoyances.

Pro:

+ Very simple.

+ Fast to use.

+ Stays out of your way.

+ Low CPU utilization.

Con:

- *Still* doesn't play AAC encoded with QuickTime/iTunes.

- Could be about half the size it is (even and 1600x1200 it's absolutely HUGE).

- Doesn't remember shuffle/loop settings between launches.

How about a pref's pane to manage UI size, playlist font/size, buttons vs. text, etc.

KEVIN_C  Kills EXIF data dead! Too bad, it looks like a perfect fit for my wife to tweak her photos, but I must have EXIF data intact.

KEVIN_C  After reading some of the comments posted here I was hesitant to try this on the auctions I was currently watching. But it worked like a charm! Nailed my last bid with 2 seconds and $0.06 to spare.

Sure the GUI could use some work and polish, and it would be great if the developer used WebKit or something (anything) that renders correctly for the builtin browser component, but otherwise this was a very functional and effective piece of kit.

Thank you so much!
