JUST FRED  Downloaded v1.2 from your website and copied it to ~/Library/Application Support/Camino/PreferencePanes and restarted Camino. Did not appear in the preference pane.

JUST FRED  The problem is not with the .dmg. I've had the same issue with some downloads under 10.3.9. I downloaded this under 10.4.11 and it mounts just fine.

You might want to run diskutility and check your file system. Perhaps repairing permissions will solve the problem.

Also, try downloading the .dmg again. If you can, try using another machine...

JUST FRED  I'm a real fan of Finetune (http://www.finetune.com). Its major drawback has been that in order to listen to a playlist, one must keep a browser window open. The Finetune Desktop player solves that problem by using Adobe's new Apollo Preview player, which is free, but is still in alpha stage.

Thus, the program works, but it still does not have all the features baked in. I found that I needed to navigate to the playlist I wanted to hear in the web browser and confirm that I wanted to listen via the player; the controls on the desktop player did not seem to function.

But it's nice to have a little applet (which can be hidden) that displays artist, track title and so on and not need to keep a browser window open. It's a nice start!
