JOSH LINDQUIST  1000% improvement in window management for OS X with this app. It's like giving your windows the ability to dance with your fingers.

My usage:

Minimize Window: Command M (OS default)

Maximize Window: Option M

Un-minimize all Front-most app windows: Ctrl-Option-Command M

Thought I'd share my config incase you're at a loss for custom shortcut ideas. Pressing Option M in my config repeatedly toggles last window state w/maximized - SLICK. Witch makes modifying these shortcuts possible and easy with a nice System Pref module.

JOSH LINDQUIST  I hate that this software is even necessary, but it works. Thanks to the Dev for the efforts to integrate with iTunes/iPhoto. I would really like better ability to browse the files on my computer in iPhoneDisk. It's a nice piece of software though, don't get me wrong.

JOSH LINDQUIST  Anytime you're ripping and converting the video at the same time it's going to crawl and tax your optical hardware pretty bad. I would recommend using MacTheRipper (v3 in the wild is the best for speed and stability) and then using HandBrake or VisualHub on the output that MacTheRipper gives. On my MacBook Pro it takes 10-15 minutes to rip a DVD and then HandBrake or VisualHub can compress much smoother with the files off your drive than off the DVD, not to mention you can load up a que then with a load of DVDs.

JOSH LINDQUIST  Very solid start with the beta! This is FAST. No problems yet, in fact two sites that didn't work at all in version 2, Google Docs and Yodlee, are both working now. There are some little glitches with Google Docs yet, but this is 100% better. I may be able to ditch Firefox altogether soon. THANK YOU.

JOSH LINDQUIST  I love this. I've been using HandBrake for quite awhile and this has worked great on my MacBook Pro. I've been ripping all of my DVDs slowly into my iTunes library and it's crazy to have all of these movies on here.

Feature Requests: (please please, I would pay for a "Pro" version of MediaFork that had these)

• Presets that can be saved (no having to change settings each time a disc is ripped

• Automatically add to iTunes feature

The end desire to to be able to pop a DVD in, change the preset to the appropriate setting and press Rip and the movie is processed and put in my iTunes library. Don't know if the Dev reads this, but is this in the pipeline for MediaFork?

JOSH LINDQUIST  Reliability is one thing FF does have going for it, but it's too slow on my 12" PowerBook G4 and it's too ugly on my eyes. It's currently only a backup for me, for when Safari doesn't work.

Please make FF launch faster and lag less when loading pages. Can we get a skin that is clean and doesn't look cobbled together?
