Voicemail: Just tap the voicemail button and let it call your mailbox. Listen to the deleted messages prompt and hang up. Call it a couple of more times. Then, just be patient. In a few minutes, a window will pop up and ask you for your voicemail password. Type it in and you'll be good to go.

[used BBEdit] and opened Safari and no joy. Redownloaded the Jaguar version, did the same thing with the plist file, no joy. Copied Saft to the desktop and did the change to the plist file, then moved it to the /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/plugins and still no joy. Downloaded your plist file and replaced the plist file in my copy of saft and... still no joy.This is freaky. Anyone have any ideas what could be going wrong?

JOHNNY ROCKET  update to my last: I decided to do a full restore since I couldn't get summerboard to work. that did the trick. it's working great now. I recommend that if you have 3rd party apps installed, do a full restore 1st, then use iNdependence to upgrade and jailbreak your iPhone. You should have no troubles after that. enjoy!

JOHNNY ROCKET  just tried this out, worked as advertised. I had 1.0.2 with apptap installer and several 3rd party apps. Followed the directions in the help and it worked perfectly. My 3rd party apps didn't show at first, but I used iNdependence to put apptap back on by extracting the 'installer' first from the apptapp app, then I had to just uninstall and reinstall the 3rd party apps. So far I've gotten the following 3rd party apps installed and tested: Apollo, Stumbler, iFlicker, MobileFinder, Services, TapTapRevolution, iBlackjack, weDict, Sketches, VNotes, Books. Summberboard will not uninstall, so can't get it to reinstall.

Haven't gotten it to install my custom ringtones yet. But did a little research and aparantly you can't just rename them to .m4r because it's actually a different kind of file, not just a renamed mpeg4 audio. At least that's what it looks like so far.

Yesterday I added the GCALdaemon to sync my iCal with my gmail calendar. I tried closing and reopening iCal Events and making sure my iCal was set to delete events after 90 days.

There was one thing that I did find annoying, when entering the cost of a repair item, I had to make sure I didn't have the dollar sign highlighted when I started typing the amount. This will clear the dollar sign, then when you tab over to the next field, the amount is cleared out.

Also, I've used Maintain for a long time now. In the current version you can either set the Net Speed Up to: Default, Increase Values [which only doubles, no triple or quadruple], or Pick your own. It is a good program but once you reboot, those values must be set again. Apple Broadband Tuner permanently sets the values. ABT is a 1.0 so I'm sure it's feature set will expand in future releases. [at least I home it does!]

JOHNNY ROCKET  If you're having problems with this program then email the author. He'll send you a test version of the program that will generate some log information that you can email back to him that will help him troubleshoot the issue. I had to do this once and he was a great help, very responsive and got the issue fixed very quickly. This is a great little program.
