Bento	Oct 16 2008	JOHN-O Unfortunately, you just can't trust FileMaker anymore. This update should more rightly have been a 1.1, or even a 1.5 release. Even then, I would have paid a reasonable fee to upgrade. But to expect me to pay the full $50, SIX WEEKS after buying v. 1.x, is absolutely absurd. Sorry, FM, I won't be sending any more money your way, ever. (Version 2.0v2)		+8

MACFEVRE Agree! I sent an e-mail to the their "PR for Journalists" contact, and received the reply

"Our policy on Bento upgrades is the same as Apple's no upgrade policy."

Whatever that means. Considering that FileMaker has an upgrade path, why would I assume that Bento wouldn't??

Black Ink	Apr 19 2007	JOHN-O Finally! A Universal Crossword app that doesn't suck!! Seriously, this is the reincarnation of MacXword (I believe that's what it was called), whick was bought by a new developer (Daniel Jaikut of Red Sweater Software), and he is being incredibly responsive to feature requests and bug reports. If you're a crossword junkie and have an Intel Mac, this is the app for you. Period. (Version 1.0.2)		0
