JOEYBOOTZ As a recent switcher from the "dark side" of windoze, I spent at least 2 weeks finding replacements for all my old software. Overall it was a painless experience despite my colleague's uninformed warnings that there "just isn't any software for macs" However, the one stumbling block came in the form of a good SFTP client to match the almighty WinSCP. I tried them all. More than once. I made a little spreadsheet comparing the various pros and cons. The ONLY app that comes close to what I need as a professional webmaster who needs to update multiple websites on a daily basis is YummyFTP. Transmit just doesn't cut it for the pro. Admittedly home users with a .mac account might be better served with Transmit. Even after paying for Yummy, I decided to check out transmit to see if they've caught up with what I need. But Yummy just keeps getting better and leaves the others in the dust. BTW - I give it a 4 out of 5 for features only because I'm comparing it to WinSCP. Which would get a 6. Transmit, a 3.
