Type: TroubleshootingDate: 28 Jan 2008 07:08Does the new version 4.1.2 support the iSight of the current MacBook Pro? I tried the 4.1.1 and 4.1.2-demo without any success.

Type: CommentsDate: 22 Aug 2007 16:53Is there any list with all 5.0.11-supported scanner models on the Canon-webpage?
Does anybody know, why Canon does not support all current and all discontinued models with the current driver? Is it too difficult? Or does they want to force "old customers" to buy current scanner-models?

Type: CommentsDate: 26 Jul 2007 09:49I am a little bit surprised, how most people shift the blame to Lemkesoft.
In the FAQ for the bundle Macupdate told us before buying (in the meantime Macupdate changed the text!):
"Unrestricted Serials - When I buy the bundle, are the serial numbers restricted?
A: Intaglio users won't get free upgrades to the upcoming 3.0 release (they will get a special upgrade
price). The rest of the serial numbers are as if you purchased them at retail prices through the developers directly."
So my question to Macupdate is: Did you get a written confirmation from each developer (except Intaglio), that the will treat bundle-customers like normal customers buying directly from the developer?
if the answer is yes: the fault seems to be at Lemkesoft
but if the answer is no: Why did you promise things in your FAQ, which were not arranged with the developers before starting the promo?

Type: ReviewDate: 28 May 2006 06:41@Amberv and others: Textpander was not freeware, it was donationware. I paid for it in the last days it was donationware. Because of that I got Textexpander for "free" (Thank you very much!)
And I want to recommend Textexpander: It is easy to use, it simply works and it has many features.
And if something does not work, there is an support, which answers your questions very fast. For me it was actually possible to ask my question to a german speaking person, who answered me in german and who gave my question to SmileOnMyMac in US. My problem was a known one and an update is in work.
Much better product and support-experience than with an similiar software, which I used with OS 9 ... Never got answers to bug-reports and updates came extremely rare with that product.
I am very happy to be able to use Textexpander now. And I am very happy that there is such an engaged support. I am curious about the new features coming in next versions of Textexpander ....
I would say: Textexpander is even worth 29.95 $. I would also prefer donationware. But donationware does not work if only 1 or 5% decide to pay for it. Maybe because of that reason it is now Textexpander and shareware. just my 2 Cent ....
P.S. why is there no possibility to give ratings for support? 5 stars for my opinion!
