It seems that music has to be chosen one song at a time, in order to be transferred to another computer. On the Help page for the application, specifically the "TuneAid Quick Starting Guide" under step 3, it is stated: Click on "iTunes import" then on "Whole iPod". I do not see any such options. Does anyone else see these? Nor can I select entire folders (playlists/albums), but, as above, I have to select one song at a time.

Does anyone know how to uninstall this? I can't get it working on my iMac (Intel)

What I mean is that there does not seem to be any action being taken by the developer against all of the problems that have been posted here. I have been very fond of OnyX for many years, using it on all 3 of my Macs; and then the troubles started a couple of months ago, and there hasn't been any updates subsequently. I certainly don't mean anything disrespectful or disparaging by my comment.

R.I.P OnyX. It was good while it lasted.

It's slow, it's ugly, it's cumbersome, it's expensive: in short, it's a Microsoft product. Get this slack-jawed piece of poorly-thought-out trash off of your Mac and get a real (and free!)word processor – Neo Office.

Interestingly, I did an erase and install of Leopard (due to an unrelated matter – I was giving this Mac to my mother for her use, and wanted her to personalize it). Out of curiosity I installed OnyX again after this, and ran what seemed to be the problematic function (LaunchServices). No problems whatsoever were encountered this time.

Another error message and hangup . . . This occurs when doing "LaunchServices" on a PowerBook G4 running Leopard 10.5.2. The message – this time – (see previous entry) says the following:

""AppleScript Error. Finder got an error: AppleEvent timed out. (-1712).

Any ideas and/or theories?

Yes, it is definitely hanging; I let it run before bed last night, only to wake up this morning to find it still running. I was running "Launch Services" on 1.9.4b3 (on a PowerBook G4) when the error message and hang occurred.

I got an error message stating:

"AppleScript Error. Finder got an error: Connection is invalid . (–609)"

The program seems also to be hanging.
