Ha ha! Are all you numbers and letters guys the same guy? I have a feeling that someone has something personal against SohoNotes. Anyway, I'm here to say that I have had no problems with SN. Sure there are bugs right and left, but that's software life! Otherwise, I find the app extremely useful with its very smart and creative features. The only thing I have to whine about is the steep upgrade pricing. Hence the 4 out of 5.

I think Wallet is absolutely the best password (etc) storage app available for the mac. Strangely it is still the only password app to sync via dotmac. However. The developers seem completely inactive and I was worried that Leopard would be the death of Wallet. Suddenly, an update popped up and Wallet apparently was still being developed. As the previous poster commented, they seem uninterested in returning e-mails and givning the impression that they are actively developing their software. Still, this is a truly great app that, I suppose, could be greater if the devs could be bothered. In my opinion, it is still worth the money despite the apparent indifference.

Maybe this is a great program. And maybe I would spend money on it. But neither the download link or the dev link work. Does Drs Digital even excist?

I agree. But...how do you know that 50% of the users are pissed? I mean, disatisfied customers are more likely to comment than satisfied customers. It's human nature.

Since I haven't had any big hassles with the program, there's been no reason for me to comment. There's nothing for me to be angry about. I don't think negative comments on Macupdate necessarily prove anything. But I was so surprised by the onslaught of disatisfaction against Chronos that I had to give my very different point of view. If you're right, and you might be, my positive comment will soon be dissappear in the more frequent anger-comments and order will prevail : )

I just don't agree with all this whining. I find Soho Notes really really useful. In the same way that I found Sticky Brain useful. I've had no trouble updating from 6 to 7 and the bugs that inevitably exist in any software updates get fixed eventually. I agree that the pricing of the upgrades feels a bit steep, but then so does the pricing of lots of stuff in this world.

No WOW factor needed. Just a simple 'now' factor will suffice. This app looks old fashioned. It doesn't need to look old to be a solid piece of software that works. And since DevonTechnologies make money by selling this software, I think making the product look as if it belongs here and now would be a smart move.

Unfortunately, this just isn't working on Leopard.

This is a great app! A mini-PIM that keeps out of the way and does its job really well! The developer is very friendly and seems to have a lot of ShoveBox-plans for the future.

THANK YOU! I've been looking for this since USBs were invented! Lifeboat works like a charm and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Well worth the money.
