INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS Our apologies. By next build, we meant 1.3. 1.2.3 is a maintenance release that mainly focuses on bug fixes. We have quite a number of new features slated for 1.3, including the Email Sort that you requested. (Version 1.2.3)

PROGRAMHAPPY I've downloaded version 1.2.3, and I can't find any way to display the new "Email" column. In fact, I can't find any way to ad/remove any of the columns. ----------------------------------------- OS X 10.6.1, MacPro 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (Version 1.2.3)

PROGRAMHAPPY I just downloaded 1.3.1, and I still can't find this feature. Please advise. (Version 1.3.1)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS If you check 1.3.2, the feature you requested has been implemented. Look under the Special menu. (Version 1.3.2)

PROGRAMHAPPY Awesome! Thank you. The only problem still remaining with that new feature is that some email addresses are encased by quotation marks, which prevents those addresses from alphabetically sorting properly. I was just about to buy but did not proceed because I could not figure out how to open multiple incoming emails at once. I also could not find a way to remove columns that I do not need. INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS We work very hard to reply to all questions/emails we receive. We're going back and looking for your email to make sure we received it. (Version 1.2)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS It sounds like you may have ran 1.0 over a very, very old beta. If so, there were a number of significant changes made in the later betas that could account for the error you received. Please contact us at dev@infinitydatasystems.com and we'll get it fixed for you. (Version 1.0)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS Actually, MailForge has both styles of interface... the multi-window interface for long-term Eudora users, as well as the traditional 3-paned interface more commonly found. (Version 1.0)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS I know it ties with Camino as my favorite. Its by far the most feature complete browser on OS X, even beating OmniWeb IMHO. And now that iCab 4 uses WebKit, its screaming fast. Technically, it should be on par with Safari, in terms of speed. But in my tests, it's actually a bit faster. (Version 1.1)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS Please email dev@infinitydatasystems.com with details concerning the issues you've encountered. Odysseus is set by default to NEVER delete email from any IMAP account. We're very interested in getting as much info as possible. (Version 1.0b9)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS We're still optimizing the import significantly. Look for much faster results in the next build. (Version 1.0b7)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS We are working on finishing. We've been very open about the delays we've ran into with development of Odysseus, and tried our best to keep everyone apprised of the situation. And we will continue to keep everyone apprised as development continues. (Version 1.0b3)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS To answer UNCOY below, as we have already stated, development has taken longer than expected. However, pre-registration is entirely voluntary. Each build of Odysseus offers a 30 day trial period, and each build of Odysseus resets that trial period adding an additional 30 days. And despite his statements, we have received no request for a refund from this individual. (Version 1.0b3)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS The point is that the Eudora user base was left largely without a viable alternative. Our goal is to provide one. There are hundreds of thousands, of not millions, of users who like Eudora the way it is. The problem is that it will no longer be updated in its current form. While this project has certainly taken longer than we would have liked, and we've certainly hit our fair share of bumps and snags along the way, Odysseus holds true to the interface and workflow of Eudora. While we still may have a ways to go, each build gets closer and closer to 1.0. (Version 1.0b3)

INFINITY DATA SYSTEMS We understand the concerns expressed below, and are doing our best to address them. As some have pointed out, development of Odysseus has taken longer than anticipated. However, as the last couple of builds have shown, we've been making significant progress with each new build. As for charging, there is no charge to try Odysseus. Each beta of Odysseus is fully functional for 30 days, and each beta of Odysseus resets that trial period. (Version 1.0b3)
