HIPHOPPUNKSUPERSTAR  I had to ditch/rename the safari preferences file located at /User/YourName/Library/Preferences called com.apple.Safari.plist.

Deleting some entries might have done, but I wasn't sure which...

BTW, I ran into those troubles with the latest version of SIMBL, other plug-ins installed are SafariStand and Pithhelmet (I disabled the later prior to installing AdBlocker).

I would really love to have a good AdBlocker, but this isn't it yet.

The btpdeamon runs nice using next to no resources and the gui is getting better with every release.
