HELMO HASS Frankly just installed for the first time on my G5 and this totally f****up my sytem... All original osx interface icons are gone.. no way to open any application anymore since they all crashes, no way to do the basic things to have at least the possiblity to uninstall... BTW no way to understand HOW to revert this nasty thingy My only solution was at the end, since i always have a Twin system running on another Disk, was to totally replace the coreservices to get my old system back to normality... Dunno what happened yet and frankly dont want to investigate further, imho my suggestion is STAY AWAY from this...

HELMO HASS updated today to newest one and when launching the application i cant understand why it doesn't backup my old keychain in order to rebuild the new one, it just put it on the trash and starts over with a new empty one... nonono.. wht's going on there? DTEARE I'm not sure what is happening but 1Password definitely does not trash your old keychain during the upgrade. We simply read the data from it and create a brand new keychain in a separate folder. If you can contact us at support (at) agilewebsolutions (dot) com with the above description, we can help more. CHARLESS The .pkg format is a read-only format. The entire archive is gzipped (or sometimes bzipped) together, so that the only way to modify it would be to unpack the entire archive, make your changes, then repack the whole thing back up. Also, the .bom format used to list the files in the package is a closed format, meaning that it cannot be edited without reverse engineering, which is liable to break if Apple decides to change the format and thus not a very good idea. So really, the best way to edit a package is to unpack its entire contents, make your changes to the files on the disk, and then use PackageMaker to make a new package.

HELMO HASS i choose to say bye bye to apple.. well not really.. just to their machines.. for instance, and frankly im happy with that, having osx is nice, running it from a PC its priceless! GG STEVE.. btw, ppc should have been discontinued in two years, NOT NOW, according to apple policy.. At least now i've a real mac lol, with no limitations, and capable of running any hardware i need.. Please guys lets do us a GREAT FAVOUR, move to linux! Apple is dead.

HELMO HASS Ever Thought about the difference between .dmg & .pkg? DMG indicate an image file PKG indicate a compressed installer archive ... This one is just "Another dmg maker"... I tried it and frankly nothing special to report.. easy to use, but there are many other applications more complete wich offers more then this one Not really interesting for what it offers..

HELMO HASS Disappointed!!! Strangely this release for the very fist time makes me regrets the previous version.. In this one the most useul feature i was used to.. is buggy.. compare files dont work.. the search window has been reduced loosing many important (to me) features and i cant understand why.. normally upgrading from a version to another gives more functionalities not the apposite.. its my copy buggy?? lol nope i'd like, but i dont think so.. KAIDOH The search&replace functionality is still there, it is just less buttons. From the release notes: “Selected text only” affects only the “Find All” and “Replace All” operations: if there is a selection range in the front document, this option will search only the selection range if turned on, or the entire document (starting from the top) if turned off. “Wrap around” affects only the “Next”, “Previous”, “Replace”, and “Replace & Find” operations: if the search reaches the end of the document (or the beginning, if doing a “Previous”), then “Wrap around” will continue the search from the appropriate end of the document. If you find it too confusing you can go back to the old modal find window via the option “Use modal Find dialog” in Preferences > Text Search.

HELMO HASS Dunno why o much enthusiasm for that, not only they took a huge amount of time to realise it, and ok its a beta.. but frankly too many bugs still present.. normally the CM should ONLY be present on right click and now I've it all over on desktop on windows everywhere just with the normal mouse-click, , if i want a CMI popup i select it.. and like this its REALLY annoying.. another thing is WHy is no more present into (what apple call Stack.. the most idiot thing they could do) that was really cool to have too... well i know there must be a real pain in the... to make it work again under the most useless system apple ever made, but please try to do your best to give us back all the funcionalities we were used to..

HELMO HASS surely is a very good piece of soft.. only I just can't understand why for every update they make, the application has ALWAYS an awful incompatibility with all current installed components.. this time is for DivX Encoder.component and LAMEEncoder.component, wich if not taken off the quicktime folder make the application crash... and since its not a components related problem, as i use them nornally, I wonder why they don't take a little more time to avoid this kind of annoying things to happen.. last time was the same but for the sheervideo.component, do you mind to make things a little bit more compatible in the future??? I would really appreciate it.

MIRAIZON When Cinematize Pro is launched, it attempts to scan through all your QuickTime Movie Export components to make those available to you within the program. The problem is, Apple keeps making regular updates to QuickTime and some of these updates may break the various components you may have installed on your system. If you have a component installed that is incompatible with the QuickTime version you are running, it can crash any program that accesses that component including Cinematize Pro. Because this is a compatibility issue between QuickTime and the various QuickTime components you have installed, you really have two choices to avoid the problem. The first is of course to stop installing updates to QuickTime. The second is to install updates to QuickTime, but each time you do this to also install updates to any QuickTime components you may have. By keeping both QuickTime and your installed components at the same level, you should be able to avoid any compatibility problems. DOCUDESK The first build of deskUNPDF for Mac 2.0 was released with a bug in the finder extension which our team immediately resolved. By popular demand, an improved universal installer package has also been available for some time. The installer package only defaults to install the finder extension, simply selecting custom during the process exposes the option to not install this. This reviewer must be commenting on an old build. I would encourage them to download and try a current build/installer.

as far as i can see, no evolution since ages, we're quite close to a total integration for both i386 and ppc hardware compatibility mobos, and they still make an emulator to run win95??? c'mon...... humm why not intruducing another one in which i could run Commodore 64? or better like Vic 20? ok lets say its good and I really like it, where in the hell do you find applications to run on it? Vista is out there, and already most of applications won't even run on XP, and i should spend my time on compiling the source to install a project based on my grand mother 'puter? lol and then..?

DANNYCSS Developing an app is a continuous process, it is never "complete". Why should people have paid for OS 10.0, Apple should have made it Leopard and then shipped it. That is effectively what you are saying. I appreciate thats not completely what you meant, why ship an app when we have more features in the works? Purely because we had a release date to work to.
