HAUSLENDALE KIT USERS READ THIS After importing my KIT Library, this app will not read a (KIT NOTE). Meaning, any note document created with KIT will not be readable in Together. All .text files and .rtfd imported fine and are readable, but all ( KIT NOTE ) files will import but they are not readable. You would think the developer would have addressed this in the coding or at least created a converter so on import you could still use all your ( KIT NOTE ) files?? I will stick with KIT until this issues is fixed or other.

NULLSET HAUSLENDALE, it looks as though original KIT notes are themselves bundles. In the Finder right click on a KIT note and click "Show Package Contents". Here you will see that a KIT note actually contains some sort of P-List file and a folder called NoteText. Open this NoteText folder and you should see a TXT.rtf file that contains your original note. You can open this file with TextEdit and get at your original info.

STEVE HARRIS The reason is that you don't need to open KIT notes in Together by importing them individually from KIT as you seem to be doing because Together will import and convert them for you. On first run, Together will offer to import your KIT library (and you can import KIT libraries at any time with File > Import KIT Library) converting notes, preserving tags, groups, ratings, labels, etc.

HAUSLENDALE Devekoper never fixed the bug that was found in v2.1.3 when creating Smart Folders. v2.1.3 has a bug when creating Smart Folders. Developer was contacted and will not fix it untill the next release. i'll fix it. But the next release is not ready yet. I'm programming recurring invoices. You can either wait for the next release or you can fix it by yourself until next release (just unbind the text fields) from the ok button. | |

PAMARCU Shadows are used only to get a better visibility of object with white borders on a white background. It is only a screen effect. Though I have this clear in my mind, I have not written it out on the product page and in the online help. Sorry, I'll make it clear on the FitPlot docs soon.

HAUSLENDALE When I make an encrypted disk image. I do not get a password dialog. It makes the .dmg but the pass is blank so no info needed to open the encrypted disk image. All other options are working 100%. | |

HAUSLENDALE Leopard compatibility: with version 1.3.10 running in Leopard I see that every time I start the app it will start indexing. This makes a huge CPU load from this application. 68% to 79%. Why not just have the app check for any differences instead of indexing everything over and over again at every launch??

HAUSLENDALE This just keeps getting worst with every new update. Instead of using customers for your testers why not test your builds yourself Mr. Developer.... Same issues with this release and the app is even more bugged. Time to get a refund and look for some reliable software. I met every requirement and still this app is so bugged I do not even want to run it on any of my Macs anymore..

HAUSLENDALE The one thing that is not working with this release is that the export screensaver funtion is so bugged. All exported screensavers on my end turn the Monitor black and I must force restart my computer to undo this. Chipset Model: ATY,RadeonX1600 and tested with MacPro Intel custom built maxed out!!

HAUSLENDALE So trying the new version here on INTEL 10.4.8 and all is going well, but the add helper function is not working. Dialog box appears with all buttons looks ready but once you select your helper app it is not added the the list. Thus the helper list remains empty. Come on, test this app before release. I await yet another update to fix this issue.....

the sound is not played in the screensaver, because we thought that playing silently was a desired feature for a screensaver. But we can easily add an option in the screensaver panel that would control whether the sound is played or not. I will add that as a request and investigate further. Thanks for your comments. | |

KYLEKAI Unfortunately this person did not read the instructions (nor contact the developer). For example, in the case of Mail.app, you need to specify Force Quit, and then it works. I'm sure that's the same with the other apps that were mentioned.

HAUSLENDALE Testing v1.5 here on INTEL and seems buggy. If I run the app and use the buttons (Unlock) and (Protect) the only files that I can alter without the app crashing is txt files. However, if i use drag and drop (on the apps icon) I can work with any file and folder that I choose. This is very buggy now that I think about it. Look forward to a better build.

HAUSLENDALE Why would the developer leave all the ~.nib copies in the Resource folders? I thought to myself why is the app bigger than the norm. Well I found out. What a lazy developer. To remove all the not needed extras install the application then run the TERMINAL and give this caommand: rm -rf /Applications/Capture\ One\ PRO\ 3.7/Capture\ One\ PRO.app/Contents/Resources/*/*~.nib Oh about the application, switch to Photoshop or Apples Aperture, and don't look back.

HAUSLENDALE Testing this application for the first time. Intel Mac user OS X10.4.8. I find that if you unlock a PDF then try to lock it, you must restart the app for it to work. This does not happen every time but I would say 3 out of 5 times. Also 3 out of 5 times if you lock a PDF then unlock it without restarting the app, nothing will show up when you open your unlocked PDF. The page is just blank. The demo stats that only one page will be processed, so my test where with a one page PDF only. I would not want to pay for an app that is this buggy. We Mac users like applications that work and work well. At this time I can not say that about PDFKey Pro v3.0...

HAUSLENDALE It would be nice if you could set (Library) as a default. The (Drop Pad) Library: dropdown menu will not select anything at application startup. You must go to: (File) -- (Open Recent) to select your library. This is very weak. The developer needs to copy some more of (KIT) Keep It Togeteher v1.2.5.
