GENERAL HONEYPOT  I've been trying to get the perl userscript called markdown to work with this. It works for textwrangler, but not this. Is there an alternative anywhere? The script adds html paragraph tags to some text.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  sjk, is PH 2.8-79 the same as the one that's available to download here? Only when I check the version number it's just 2.8.

Also, are you changing the numbers in info.plist, or just leaving it? The maxbundleversion number in 2.8 is 5524, not 522, so I'm at a loss as to what to do.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  The makers of divx need to realise that people just want the codec, not all the extra stuff that's bundled it with. We have Quicktime, Niceplayer, VLCplayer and many others to do that job.

And why scatter so many of the files all over the system. This is nice codec, it's a shame that it's let down by how it's distributed. I'll stick with with Perian codec for now.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  I've just downloaded and tested a couple of comic book viewers and this one is currently the front runner. It's simple and unlike some other apps, (jomic), it's not a resource hog.

It loads the comics very fast and it lets you click through the different pages quickly too.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  At the time I did try that with some other software but it didn't work. There was a known bug that prevented it from dealing with stuffit files on intel macs. I don't know if it's been fixed, but then I don't really care. Stuffit needs to be made obsolete.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  Despite being told my flip4macs automatic updater that I had the latest version, I have just now downloaded this one, (the real latest version).

This new version still doesn't play any of the BBC audio/video streams. After showing me a blank white screen for about a minute, it then advises me to update to a newer version.

I want to like this, anything that renders the Windows Media Player obsolete is all right in my book. But it's so picky about what it actually plays I find it frustrating.

It works fine. Every .flv I have tried works and it also plays embedded .flv files with Quicktime when using Safari.

The developer should consider moving away from .sitx. You only have to go to the stuffit page to see the problems many people have with stuffit.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  I downloaded this so I could get rid of the Divx bundle which scatters itself throughout OS X.

It's very easy to use and from the Divx receipt, it did the job of tracking down all the Divx files without problem.

GENERAL HONEYPOT  This product is a piece of junk. I have Tiger 10.4 and stuffit keeps freezing/crashing on me.

It's too bloated and it's install method is to scatter files all over your system. BEWARE!

Developers need to stop using this format.
