SCIFI That’s a typical remark we get when we make a simple request to not leave Tiger/Panther/PPC/etc. support behind on any open source project. It is understood that we may join a project and/or donate to it, goes without saying. If a team already involved does not know how popular Tiger/PPC/etc. still are and the reasons we cannot “upgrade” to Leopard/later and/or switch to (“buy”) an Intel machine, then we have the obligation to let the teams know. But there are more direct ways to let them know besides using MacUpdate as a sounding board, we should be using them also (e.g. file bugreports & such).
Thank you.
